  • If you want play gba or snes games, you need to use a .rar files ?

    e.g. ...NDSGBA / gamepak / .rar

  • Can it emulate NES?

  • If you order from Digitopz, all this is already done for you, and it's only $39 with free shipping. So why spend more and have to do all this? Correct me if I'm wrong, as it's still in the mail and I didn't even buy the 3DS yet, so I'm not familiar with this stuff, just been doing a lot of reading/searching.

  • cool you have a magic mouse

  • thanks a lot man!

  • thanks pal you have really helped me

  • Will this run on any SD Card?

  • @downthepark no only microsd cards

  • thanks for the video bro, answered a lot of questions.

  • My dstwo firmware file came with ds2boot.dat , but yours did not should i still add this ?

  • @anythinggoesjoe Mine's a older version that's why it's not there. idk

  • @wallmartkiller

FYI, ND5 files are NDS files. The up loaders just don't want to get in trouble for copywriter. Just rename it and you will be fine.

  • I think your downloads gave me virus ...

  • @pearljamrules1 Didn't give me one. XD

  • Does it play Avi (divx/xvid) files properly?

  • Thank you so much man this made the most sense and now with my 3ds i can play all of those games...WOO HOO

  • when i will start a game on the gba emulator there is everytime a white screen. What can i do?

  • when i will start a geme there is everytime a white screen. What can i do?

  • I did everything on the video, and my card was working fine, but then when i tried to go on the ds_game file, it goes to the loading screen & it practically freezes. So I can't play my ds games anymore. If someone can help me with this problem, you'll have my thanks.

  • I just get a blue screen saying "No find system files"

  • this didint work for me it keeps saying NO FIND SYSTEM FILE. can someone please help me.

  • Ok so I HATE the built in SNES emulator. Terrible frame rate and it can't use the games built in save feature unlike many PC emulators. Only save states. So I'm gonna try SnemulDS. Does anyone know if SnemulDS can be compatible with the DSTWO?

  • This is PERFECT. I can play EarthBound AND Mother 3 :D

    ....

That is, if I had one D:

  • Does anyone know if the built in SNES emulator (NDSSFC) reads .zip files like ZSNES for PC or do you need to extract and use the .smc files in the rom folder?

  • My God I can't wait for my DSTWO to arrive. There are so many SNES RPGs I can't wait to play again, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, Breath of Fire 1, and after that fan translated RPGS that I've never played yet like Seiken Densetsu 3, Mother 3 (on the gba), Bahamat Lagoon. It will feel so nice playing them on the DS too since it's got all the same buttons as the SNES controller did.

  • Thanks for the vid I'm sure I'll use it when my dstwo arrives. I bought it mainly bc I want to play alot of SNES games on my DSi. Shadowrun, Breath of Fire, Earthbound, etc. . Do you know how you can set up an NES emulator on the DSTWO? I might want to add NES games later.

  • @Teremei Well, I've only done this on a DSLITE and I still can't find any way to get a working nes emulator on it. If you discover a way please let me know.

  • @wallmartkiller I will. I've seen videos of ppl playing NES on DSTWO. When I get it I'll try to install NESDS and I'll let you know. I'm guessing just try to organize the files the same way they are organized in the preinstalled SNES emulator.

  • What brand of SD card are you using? I tried a Kingston card but it had the same problem as the cheaper brand (Memorette) i.e, no files showing in the gamepak folder when inserted into the DS. SanDisk is the only brand thats worked for me so far :/

  • My card was working for a while and then all of a sudden when I tried to use it it says no files system files. Can someone please help me it is happening on both of my ds systems

  • @SenjuRoy It's probably okay. Mine does that sometimes. Just take the mini sd out of the DSTWO, wipe it off(cleaning the contacts) and put it back in and try to run it again. Works every time for me. It only does this error after I take the mini sd card out several times(probably oil from my hands on the contacts).

  • can i play sega genisis games on it?

  • thanks

  • Thank you so much.

  • Followed this tutorial to the letter. Copied a few GBA roms over to the GAMEPAK folder. Loaded the GBA emulator on my DSi XL..... and no files listed, just the scrolling address bar with nothing below it.

  • @jezz2k This tutorial was done on a DSLITE. I guess look up a tutorial on the DSi XL.

  • @wallmartkiller A DSi XL user below said it worked for him, so the method should be identical.

  • @jezz2k I'm sorry, but I only have experience with A DSLITE. Ask that user that said it worked for him. On a final note, your rom files could be corrupted. Hope this helps

  • @wallmartkiller Well I just tried my card on a DSLITE and it had the exact same problem. So clearly not a model issue. I've tried several roms.

  • @jezz2k Maybe you have a bad mini SD card. Idk

  • @wallmartkiller Yep, seems like you were right. The card, a branded (memorette) 32GB card, was the problem. Tried a SanDisk 2GB card and it worked. It can't be the size as the box says "unlimited" card size.

  • VERY COOL WALLPAPER, DUDE.

  • Where did U get your card from?Help...

  • what about "ds2boot"

  • TYSM. I was trying to work out how to set up the GBA part ( your video helped me a bunch).

  • is this a good card if i wanna watch videos

  • Thanks dude this helped It works on DSi XL alright

  • Does this work with the DSI XL?

  • When you say connect the super card with the USB adapter; do you mean the micro SD card? Sorry I am slightly confused.

  • @constantgamer247 Sorry if I said super card. I meant to say "put the micro sd card in the micro card reader, then put that in your usb slot on your pc.

  • @constantgamer247 Thank you, I figured it out when you said micro SD card later in the vid.

  • Does the DSTWO come with the games or do you have to download them onto the card.i was also wondering if you are able to listen to the music you download on the dsi while playing at the same time?

  • With the nd5 roms.all you have to do is change the 5 into a s. They will run great.

  • thank you so much

  • After watching a ton of Tutorials this is best, Thanx for uploading this awesome vid and thanx for being awesome, def. Thumbs up for this

  • Awesome Video. My DS Two Flash Card arrived today and had it set up in a few minutes thanks to you. I am finding some lag issues in the Snes emulator, and I've tried changing the CPU freq, but it doesn't seem to do much. Everything else seems to be working fine though. Thanks again!

  • Sweet!! Thanks man! I just got mine on Fri. I can't wait to use this for everything! THANK-YOU!!!!!!!

  • Bleach :D

  • Can you save in game or do u have to use save state?

  • @hanktank45 You can use the ingame saves if you want to.

  • THANK YO)U!!!!!

  • I saw that you mentioned ND5 roms. usually the uploader just wanted to make sure his upload will not look like a NDS rom, just rename them, they work fine.

  • @MrMichaelkc I'll try that, thanks for the post.

  • Thanks wallmartkiller great video trutoral very easy to follow, just wondering i just got my DSTWO and went on the site to get thr os and plugins i see theirs a MAME Emulator to and was wondering is that done the same way as the other plugins? if so have u tried it youself?

  • @AhShutUpInYourFace I saw the MAME emulators also, but I haven't tried them yet.

  • forgive me..big time ..all the problem was that the file was in .nd5 the five looked like a S so please forgive me,,, now everything works C :

  • @magicichigo Glad to hear. Just so you know, I have 2 games on my Dstwo that have a "5" and still work. Most "5" games won't though. XD

  • allright sir. sorry for bothering you , last question. how do i know witch one is right for me

  • @magicichigo Which what? Put yourself in my shoes, be more specific. If you mean OS(operating system) check by right clicking on my computer. That should tell you your OS. Btw, did you do everything in that link you sent me? Lots of good information there.

  • 9 door 9 hours 9 something...and something about best atary game volume 1 ( i went to the winrar link and there is a lot of stuff, witch one do i donwload....( what happens if i just drag it to the micro sd card? )

  • @magicichigo First off, use the one right for your computer OS. Secondly, if you just drag it onto the card it won't work. Period. Good ahead, try it. DS games have to be unzipped to be readable.

  • i have 2 games that didnt work, i re-donwload them . ans still didnt work...i hear that you need to split them...but i dont get that...OHH AND(( DO YOU HAVE TO USE WINRAR) what happens if i just drag all my files the micro sd card? instead of winrar

  • @magicichigo I'll assume you're talking about DS games. Never heard about splitting the games up to get them to work. Yes, you need to use winrar to unzip the game. Which games are giving you problems?

  • i am using a r4ds so does that change anything

  • @CoolFr3ky Only totally. Look up a r4ds tutorial dude. Lol

  • so plzzzz help

  • @CoolFr3ky I don't know. If you did everything I said to do and copied over the correct files then you should be good. My advice, re-format the card, follow everything step by step(including re-downloading everything-could have been a bad download), and try again.

    Hope this helps.

  • did not work for me

    it says couldn't find _DS_MENU.DAT

  • i do not understand the concept of the folders. why do i need a folder for ds roms, gba and snes on "ds_game" if the gba and snes are played in their own emulators.

also is it safe turn off the ds in game with its power switch or is it better to go back to dstwo menu then turn off, sorry new to this
