  • 0:18 That's a different person, isn't it? lol

  • I will never get tired of this

  • ENGRISH MOTHERFUCKER? DO YOU SPEAK IT? DE GESO~

  • I have to say, Cindy's English is, uh, acceptable. Did they get a native speaker to do her English lines or something? The read doesn't sound like an actress, more like some white woman they pulled off the street.

  • @EponymousKid i believe they got a native speaker, i think in the next episode, cindy says something in english, but its a whole different voice, like, it seemed to ber her japanese VA trying to talk in english. and guess what, she couldnt say it really well.

  • is.. this... the... new... season.......??

  • @TheGamePerfectionist Yeah, it's been out for a while.

  • anyone else see that , she said really, but the subs said ready....

  • @bombuchu I think the subs were in the actual Japanese broadcast; there's a lot of simple spelling, grammatical, and syntactical errors in them, I imagine a staff member who knew a little English listened to the scene and wrote down what he heard.

  • 0:13 "Now the world invasion is going to be such a piece of cake" anyone else hear that?also the sub says ready when she says really.

  • @dasdew2 Well yeah, the entire show is based around her attempts to conquer the surface world.

  • Holy shit! This is the best Engrish I've heard in any sort of anime!

  • @humrH2360 that's partialy due to the fact that when the blonde chick speaks they have a different, natively english speaking voice actor do those parts.

  • That's some pretty good english.

  • Awesome episode, and lol @ Eiko not being able to do much this time around.

  • SO MUCH ENGRISH

  • Ready? Is that so?

  • Ika's English is really good, although she does have a slight Japanese accent. Cindy has incredibly good English, yet her Japanese seiyuu is probably not that good with English so obviously they hired another seiyuu to do her English speaking roles.

  • Eiko (to an american tourist): I'll kill you!!

  • She speaks Engrish better than me...and I'm from the States.

  • @alex2519602009 Do not ever underestimate japanese people o.O

  • Ika Musume's amazing Engrish

  • she did so well! :D

  • Cindy actually sounds like an american lol

  • @ssjgoku75 Cindy IS american lol

  • @Raito73 She must be v/a'd by someone who's lived long enough in one country or the other to speak perfect English.

However squid girl definately still has a Japanese accent but still, ifinitely better than most Engrish I've heard.

  • @Hoshimaru57 hahaha.....naw.....infact that Cindy have 2 voice actor, one for jpnes speaking, one for eng speaking, go check on wikipedia.

anyway, i like squid girl put her degeso even on her english

  • i remember hearing someone say

when we try to speak japanese does it sound as ridiculous as it does when the japanese try to speak english?

  • @warhawk9566 To them, yes. Kyouran Kazoku Nikki: "Kon-ICHI-wa Catsura Rindo, Anna-ta wa boku mo TIE setsune studento."

  • @warhawk9566 Yes, yes it does.

  • @warhawk9566 If you speak japanese and English languages maybe ESPECIALLY if you are talking to yourself which I do a lot cuz i have nothing to do in my life

  • @warhawk9566

    yes

  • @warhawk9566 well, i once learned Chinese and a Chinese woman said i would have no accent.... .since japanese isn't that different i would assume: no!

  • @warhawk9566 most often in recent, only we sound as stupid as it sounded here.

While the base grip of English sounds alot like this from Japanese people, when they really learn it with any ounce of care, its always gonna sound better than when we try with all of our might to learn and speak japanese.

  • @warhawk9566 That said, The subbing is fan sub, Sooooo.....

We still can barely speak Engrish/English ;l let alone sub it it....

  • @warhawk9566 My parents are both Mexican and from Mexico so i'm fluent in Spanish, yet have a "white" accent for whatever reason(both my older brothers and little sister speak Spanish with no accent,i'm the only one who sounds "white") also the oldest speaks French, Portuguese on top and the other German on top of Spanish and English

Yeah we all sound weird speaking a foreign language,as long as we under stand each other i don't care what you sound like.

  • @warhawk9566 If you're careful, you can get the inflection close. Try your best, everyone!

  • @warhawk9566

    Yes, it does, de-geso!

    そうでゲソ!

I think we can recognize someone comes from the West or the rest of Asia (Korean, Chinese), from how they are speaking Japanese, de-geso.

    西洋とかアジア(韓国、中国)から来た人は日本語の話し方で見分けられると思うでゲソ。

  • @warhawk9566 japarish?

  • HAU! HAUHAU HAU!

  • @DrewDrawDrawnMiki Well, HAU is how dogs bark in my country ^^

  • World invasion?

  • @x434343 Ika dreams of conquering the world someday.
