with this song it does not matter.....metal punk sludge....the message is what makes it....I am a beach boys fan...I like melody....but at this point in time tonight I needed to hear this awesome blast from my past.....a sonic FUCK YOU.....justice is not here today...nor was it...when I first saw this band back before most of you were born....Thanks ludeboy77 for posting this....it just helped me through a hard time...it would take me an hour to go through all my old TAPES...to find this...

For some people it's a clash of paradigms and ideologies: they reckon metal is full of conceits, hardcore is real.

But you're right there's good stuff everywhere. To close off to something for arbitrary reasons is to miss out.

Also: everything influences everything else. Black Metal shares Crust Punk DNA, Crust Punks loved Motorhead, Motorhead loved The Ramones, Ramones loved Black Sabbath and MC5.

Nothing exists in a vacuum.

haha dude, metal does have a lot of conceits. the local thrash scene is full of wannabes. . . but then again... i could say the same thing about the hardcore scene where i'm from. people are too stuck up.

i'm kinda the middle man who loves both metal and hardcore equally.

i'm all about lyrics man... there's a lot of fucked up messages in metal and some bands (not all of them) just use impressionable kids and feed them shit with their lyrics and their merchandising, i'm talking about bands like slipknot and lamb of god... that's the reason why i love hardcore... we don't get all that shit from hardcore bands... bands like AF,SOIA,Minor Threat and Warzone are all about integrity, respect and unity...that's a better message specially for a kid
