Um no!!! Carrie can blow Kellie out of Country music. Kellie has sold nearly not enough cds. Carrie sold over 9 MILLION! Carrie won American Idol... Kellie DId NOT! Carrie is realllllly HOTTT kellie is not all that hottt :] Carrie is much much much better. kellie will never beat carrie. If she does pinch ursellf ur sleeping!!
I love them both and I do think that Kellie is amazing and she has such a cute personality...but vocal ability wise Carrie really is a cut above the rest!
Both Kellie and Carrie are great and made great albums. The main reason for the huge sales difference is the huge promotion difference. If Kellie got near constant #1 airplay and more huge TV gigs (Oprah etc.) like Carrie gets then her sales would be multiplatinum too. Daughtry didn't win Idol either and his sales are in the millions, also because of huge promotion and airplay. So Kellie and Carrie's albums are equal but Carrie's promotion is much much better.
I'm a huge Carrie fan, but Kellie is a damn good singer, and a beautiful girl. One thing Kellie does that Carrie doesn't is put her everything into her songs. You can feel her emotion. They're both great singers and entertainers. I think Kellie goes back to Dolly Parton, Tammy, Barbra, Tanya days. I think she's CLASIC country. Love them both though, not so much Taylor.
