if you are using an older Power box with 20 pins instead of full 24 then you need to plug an extra molex into the mobo otherwise the graphics card could choke on power short

if you got the latest 24pin PSU don't worry about it

I got one of these for £50, good board but needs a few MODS to make it more stable at overclocking.

1. Pencil Vdroop MOD, makes the world of a difference...NO VDROOP!!!

2. FLASH the BIOS with a BIOS from the 'full fat' 680i boards and that will give you more voltage and tweaking options aswel as make the board more stable :D

depending on the socket tells u which processors u can use if its socket 775 then it will take pretty much any intel processor whereas amd has a different socket i cant remember its name but basically its not socket 775 i hope this helped

and it thinks its a full SLI board. Makes it wayyy more over clockable.

I acually own a 680i Motherboard right now and it has done incredibly well for me, i have a Core 2 Quad in there which smoothly overclocked to 3.5GHZ and an EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked which is beastly overclocked to 735/1850/2.2 and runs stable! Its time for an upgrade tho, and im stuck whether or not i should get the EVGA 780i FTW Tri-sli motherboard and a 2nd Superclocked 8800GT or a CrossFire Chipset with a single HD4870 which gets LESS fps than Dual 8800GT specially Superclocked then OC'd.

I ordered one of these and now its (finally) turned up I think its dead. i herd this happens a lot. It seems to power up, but i get no output through my 8600GT, which worked fine in my cheapo foxconn board.
