  • The dow head media says, he cant win, I say bs, RP 2012 .Spread the word !! no status quo

  • Ron Paul is a modern day Founder. He was one of only four Republicans in Congress to endorse Reagan in 1976. He's completely honest and not a flip-flop - that alone should make everyone vote for him. Who else in all of politics is completely honest and not a flip-flop? He's been married to his wife for over 50 years. His speech at CPAC brought down the house.

  • sigh...john mccain. you know...at some point people are going to have to really listen to not just what people say, but what they mean. sure, it's fashionable for everyone to talk about fiscal conservatism now what with the tea parties and all that. but does anyone for a second actually BELIEVE that mccain, palin, romney, huckabee are SERIOUS about it? c'mon clint, open your eyes.

  • Clint is one of the top of my list of greatest actors

  • John McCain? Are you a TOOL Clint?

  • haha... um you know that you can write in any name in a presidential election, he doesn't have to be on the ballot

  • @tirmen8er

    Thats what I did.

    Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich

  • @tirmen8er

I didn't know that!! I didn't even see a place for that, and I looked it over good. THANKS for telling me!

  • I was going to vote for Ron Paul, but, Ron Paul was NOT on my voting form in Broward Florida. Did any others have this trouble? Ron was CHEATED !! Something should be done about it!! I am VERY mad about it!

  • In the primary?

  • you can become a Ron Paul Precinct Captain. Were gonna wreak havoc in 2010 if Ron runs again. If so we are gonna make 2008 look like t-ball practice.

  • edit > i meant if Ron runs in 2012

  • @electric789 hell yeah i hope 2012 is a home run!!!

  • Are you done your stupid rant now?... Seriously shut-up!

  • Legalization of -marijuana- for medicinal purposes, not cocaine u half twit. He is funny, considering his truthful disclosure of deceptive policies supported by rich bureaucrats is damn sickening to the point of hysterics. When he speaks, it is from the rational point of view of a lost way of life and it is hard for the public at large to hear him because of ignorant mainstream media pampered brats such as yourself. I dare say you should not going into politics are you would surely be raped. :)

  • damn i thought Clint was a big libertarian, I lost a lot of respect for him on that little clip giving props to McCain for financial responsability.

Ron Paul wanted to end the Iraq, Afghanistan and rediculous war on terror that is bankrupting this country. McCain wanted to "stay the course" 100 years if needed I heard him say. WTF Clint?

    RON PAUL 2012

    McCain

  • One must fall back upon common sense. The Framers of the Constitution did not stipulate that anyone, except the Chief Magistrate {President}, be "natural born." Why? To prevent the nation's highest office from being awarded to a foreign-born candidate. When asked: "In which country were you born?" John McCain's answer is: "Panama."

  • freedom-force international

google it, inform yourself and spread Ron Pauls message!

  • i love this, I feel so much like im back in time to when there were underground rail roads and people working together to fight for our liberties.

    Ron Paul

    Revolution!

Get out and do something to learn about, and protect our rights. I wont spam this message, But ill try to find the celebs in this vid and contact them and ask for a photoshoot/endorsement or something like that :)

  • Join us, stand up for America!

    revolutionmarch (dot) com 07/12/08

    See you there!

  • Why would he avoid talking about Ron Paul? What does he see in McCain? I thought Clint was a Libertarian type of republican!?!??

  • Eastwood later said that the only area where he really agreed with McCain was in how the Republican Party had lost its message, which used to be that personal responsibility and fiscal responsibility were extremely important.

Eastwood also noted that neither McCain nor Obama had been his first choice, and that in the end, Obama's victory might have been better given how a younger man would be more capable of generating the needed stamina for the arduous road ahead.

  • Eastwood probably voted for McCain for personal, historical, and biographical reasons as much as anything. Eastwood first met McCain back in 1973 when the latter returned from Vietnam and California Governor Ronald Reagan staged a ceremony for the returning Prisoners of War. In the 2008 election cycle, Eastwood appreciated the inferred wisdom of McCain's experience, although he said that he considered Obama "a very nice guy."

  • Eastwood also probably admired McCain's brand of centrist, anti-Bush, renegade Republicanism from earlier in the decade.

  • Eastwood did register as a Libertarian during the election. I'm not sure who his "first choice" had been, but I'd imagine either Ron Paul or Hillary Clinton. Paul is obviously a libertarian who opposed the Iraq war and feels that America should not play the role of global policeman, positions that Eastwood himself has advocated. H. Clinton, meanwhile, is a tough woman of the kind often portrayed in Eastwood's films.

  • @joekiddlouischama Hiliary Clinton = CFR and Bilderberg Group

  • Ron Paul seems to keep him occupied; look at his right arm touching his forehead!! Why that? It´s an eye-catching behavior as if he has thought of endorsing him or something. It seems to me very strange.

    Germans for Ron Paul!

  • McCain?!?! Clint is a fucking freemason! McCain is for blanket amnesty and promises 100 years of more war, we don't have the fucking money for that!

  • Over 4,000 Americans have already been murdered in this senseless war. Abortion has nothing to do with federal affairs, let the states make their own abortion laws. The man was a OB/GYN, he delivered babies for a living, OF COURSE he's going to be against abortion. If Ron paul doesn't get into office, his "whining" will be the least of your worries.

  • I wasn't talking about the war in Iraq. I was talking about the war women wage on their own children. The senseless killing of innocent unborn children has everything to do with federal government when said federal government has the power to stop it. Allowing abortion in SOME states not only divides America, but condones abortion.

  • My apologies. The negative wasn't necessary, but anyway, there in again, it's not a Federal issue, that's why we have state leaders, if the majority of people of said state want Pro-life, then vote in leaders who believe in it also. My body, my right, the government has no business making a woman have a baby aganst her will. BUT, at the same time, the age of the fetus should be taken into consideration. Until I got older, I never new that doctors were performing abortions on 6 & 7 month fetuses.

  • Your body, your choice?

What an ignorant agrument. The mother did what she wanted with her body when she opened her legs. It's the baby's turn to make the choice. It's not just the mother's body anymore. There is another person inside. 4,000 unborn American children are killed DAILY by abortionists. And this isn't a federal issue?

    Bull.

  • Yes, THEIR choice. If abortion i sconsidered murder then States have statutes for "murder" the same as Feds do. Not all "murders" are dealt with on a federal level. There have been situations where sex is not voluntary and the woman becomes pregnant, but she should be forced to have that baby because the baby didn't do anything wrong, correct? Consider adoption, right? As I stated before, there should be a cut off due to the age of the fetus. Federal backs up state, not the other way around.

  • HA. So, just because the woman was raped (which occurs in less than one percent of all U.S. pregnancies), the child has to die? I certainly don't believe in that AT ALL.

  • if it happend to you you might believe in it

  • Negative. I could never kill my child, no matter how he or she came into this world. NEVER. Some of us have a conscious and sense of morality.

  • You are speaking from a moral stand point and that's admirable, but your feelings and the feelings of that young teenager in the inner city who has no where to turn, will probably feel differently. What do you propose women who have unwanted pregnancies do? Oh, and please, I did not resort to saying your comments are ignorant, I'd appreciate the same respect.

  • I suggest women be responsible. Unwanted pregnanices? A friend of mine recently told me if she got pregnant she would have an abortion. I told her if she would just go throught the nine months and have the child, I would take care of him or her. I don't believe a child should be killed so the irresponsible mother can live how she chooses.

  • Good suggestion, but that's a 2 way street. The man and woman need to be responsible. What about teenagers?

  • When one becomes physically mature enough to reproduce, one should become emotionally and mentally mature enough to realize he or she should take all measures possible to delay reproduction until he or she is ready. If a couple (teenagers or not) decides to have sex, they need to prepare themselves and use combination methods to prevent so-called "unwanted" pregnancies. Being irresponsible doesn't excuse you from killing an innocent child.

  • Here's the problem, how do we relay such a good message to the masses? It's as i fpeople have a total disregard for life, pregnancy is not the only thing they need to worry about. Sex can kill you now-a-days. Thank you for agreeing to disagree. My point in this was to get you to see that the state is perfectly capable of passing laws to protect unborn children if the leaders see fit to do so. Big government takes away too much of our liberties. Some things in life just don't pertain to the Feds.

  • If the leaders see fit, eh? And what if they don't? "Big government" doesn't take away our liberties, it guarantees them, especially those of the unborn.

  • If the leeaders see fit may not be the right wording, but I'm sure there are people who run for office that are pro-life, vote for them, get the message out. Abortion is obviously something that you are very passionate about. Smaller government is the way to go, the more control we give to the Feds, the less liberties we have.

  • Abortion is such a passionate matter. I think it's all in how our children are raised and what they are exposed to. I have a 15 year old on my MySpace page, she sent out a bulletin called, when to give him your virginity. I cussed her little butt out from A to Z because it affeted me that bad. I apologized later, but look at what our youngsters are exposed to today. Parents need to raise their children instead of letting T.V. do it. I apologize if I offended you.

  • omg Clint... McCain may TALK about fiscal responsibility but, like Bush, he's not going to actually practice what he preaches. I dont know why people cant understand that...

  • Another movie star proving to us just how stupid they actually are. McCain he should be lynched for calling out that war mongers name!!!! id pay to see that but not one of this jerkwads movies ever again. Search you tube for John Mccain electable? He will make Bush look like Ghandi. Prepare for all hell if that prick becomes president.

  • faith4us<--u realy are dommy;the illegals havent recive shit from u or the goverment on the contrary they pay taxes and dont have medical insurance at all why u acused them to be the cause of all the problems that u on u esay life and its no my problem let it happen;on the other hand who cares how much they spend for running to get to the shitty house. u should woorry about the real problems and how to solve and at least give some solutions u ideas and dont blame the illegals for own mistakes

  • McCain voted for the $167 billion dollar stimulus package, Ron Paul did not! Neither did Tom Tancredo or Duncan Hunter. McCain is a big government neocon.

  • how can mccain say we can't spend more money than we have and at the same time support a very expensive foreign policy. glad he doesn't run my finances.

  • Maccain?????

  • Why did clint say mccain? it didn't make any sense.

  • Eastwood is right; the pendulum will need to swing. As much as it would be nice to see Ron get the nomination I don't think it's going to happen. Frankly I think he should consider running 3rd Party just to smack both the Dems and the GOP and give whoever wins in the end a weak mandate.

  • Wow this wasn't on the news.

  • i love this !

  • "so is John McCain" And how is that?

  • Clint should do the right thing for America, after all, this is were he got to make himself.... Support RON PAUL, mr. eastwood!

  • It's refreshing to see a celebrity who thinks critically on political issues. Too many Hollywood icons turn out to be intellectually vacant.

  • The difference Clint is that Ron Paul has a RECORD of being fiscally conservative. McCheese has a record of being a turd sandwich.

  • I'm gonna have to disagree. McCain is much more of a giant dousche.

  • I thought real hard about that and I concluded Hillary was the giant douche.

  • McCain is about as fiscally conservative as Paris Hilton is

  • I hope he does what's RIGHT, not just what's popular. Ron Paul is needed by this country, more than any Clint Eastwood character was ever needed (I say that with all due respect to Clint. It's just that there are hundreds of millions of people that Dr Paul will save - Clint could only save 2 x six-shooters worth at a time!)

  • First clip ive seen of Ron Paul on MSM in a week. The black out continues. Murdock you ass. To the convention.

    Ron Paul my President.

  • Go ahead and make my day..Vote Ron Paul
