There are two axes (perpendicular to each other) that you can see on front and tho axes parallel to the fist two on the back. This simple cut was made in "two axis mode", but if you want to cut a cone (which is also possible with this machine) you need to control all four axes separately. I think the rotation of the foam would be the fifth axis.
isnt this only a 2 axes foam mill? the forward back is 1 axes and up and down is the other axes. where the rotational axes and the z axes that moves the foam

It's 4 axis because there are 2 axes on each side, and they are independent. You could have one shape on the one side, and another on the other.

Ti govoriš o tem posnetku? Tukaj ne gre za plastiko, ampak za stirodur, prav tako ne gre za laser ampak za žico, ki jo uporovno grejem.
Če pa govoriš o mojem drugem posnetku (homemade co2 laser), gre pa za cca 50 W co2 laser.

Actually i don't know. My grandfather gave me a drum of wire (without any markings) so i used it.
