I've always painted my sides on my cabs, but how/where do you get your full size cab prints? Are they prints with spray adhesive, or printed vinyl? Thanks for any help.

  • Hey man Well done. But could you explain how you did the marquee? did you just rout the bottom piece and screw it to the machine?

  • @solidsnake397 thanks. Yeah I made the bottom marquee holder out of 1"x1" wood, I cut two shallow lines with the table saw, but the router would work fine. the top is just aluminum angle iron.

  • Extreamly nice job!

  • can you send me a PDF with a list of materials used, and diagram of the cabinet? I just bought the X-Arcade stick you used, and what to do EXACTLY what you did, although the idea of taking apart the stick seems like something I might not be willing to do lol

  • @bigpete405 ok thanks!

  • You've got skill man... that was actually interesting to watch and learn how they make the machines.

Does that run on windows with an emulator and emulated game or with its own operating system, or are you just running straight pc games?

  • nice job :)

  • Specs?

    CPU

    RAM so on.. ?

  • @jdcrispe95 Its a Dell optiplex 2.8ghz, 40 gig HD, 1 gig ram. It works pretty good. I only have the mame emulator, and nes on there. 1000 games total. And out of that I might play 50. I went through the entire mame game list and picked

out the one I might play. I built a really nice mini mk mame much more involved look through my videos it's pretty cool.

  • @bigpete405 how did u get 1000 games on a 40GB harddrive..

    dell optilex's are pretty bad

    Thanks

  • @jdcrispe95 It only took up 8 gigs. Not a bad computer I bought it refurbished for 120 from tigerdirect. 2years ago.

  • @bigpete405 ohh okay 8GB .. thats pretty small for 1000 games lool

in my shop i work in .. all we get is dell optilex GX280's coming in for repair all the time.

    i build all 5 pc's in my house :D

  • @jdcrispe95 Very cool. you can make the pc anyway you want and mount it inside the cab with no case.. it's much cooler that way. I did that on the mini mk cab did you build a mame cab yet?

  • @bigpete405 nope i cant build a mame cab.. way to advanced .. im no good with building wood and stuff like that.. anything to do with computers i know the answer :D

  • @bigpete405 also.. look at my Cabinet PC Video i got.. i built a little machine

    633Mhz Celeron

    256Mb ram

    32mb Video

    cant even play Halo 1..

i only built it for the fun of it.

  • sweet man!

  • im live in venezuela in don`t have game-map mame o joistick :S

  • you can't get the supplies need to build a cabinet in Venezuela?

  • very nice :)

  • you can do that with no money insert :D

  • Yeah also a bit T2 fan (of the game and the movie) i have it on mame aswel but the two "protect the truck" levels suck ass with the regular joysticks and i remember the fine days of the T2 arcades from my childhood so i descided to buy a dedicated one :) its a great game to have and to play... really like revolution x aswel

  • no problem! you're really handy with wood and electronics i must say :)

i have a dedicated mk2 cabinet transfered into a mame aswel, about 1200 games and pinballs on it at this point. i also have a dedicated T2 shooter, KI2 (with ki 1 and 2 in it) and a umk3 (with all 4 mk games aswel) old school arcades are great! :)

  • wow thats some collection. T2 is great I play that on mame all the time.

  • Excellent dude!

  • Thanks Bro. Means alot

  • y not just buy a mk3 i got my mk2 machine for 250 cash

  • This plays 1100 games

  • Nice Bro!!!

  • That is awesome! Great job!!

  • wow that was amazing man very kool!

  • WTF you made another one???

  • lol the other video was really long. Youtube is a pain in the ass with the thumbnails it allows you to put up for people to view, so I made a new video to have better thumbnails. I want this video to get popular.

  • simply awsome! I see you found a use for the x-arcade as well. Great vid Pete
