Dives are meant to look like someone fouled them, so most of the times, unless you are sitting at home watching slow motion replays, you cant see the difference. I dont think all the diving will be caughte unless we use video replays, which takes out the drama of football and makes it more like American Football where you can challenge using replays and disallow goals and stuff
When you are running at full pace, it only takes a slight touch to take you down. A lot of these are evasive aswell. Think, if you are running at full pace and someone comes sliding towards you, your natural reaction is too move, this movement could be enough to unbalance you and send you tumbling, if you don't move, and your studs get caught in the turf, the player slides through your leg and you end up in a Cisse/Eduardo scenario.

these "5" clips dont add up to the other things that steven gerrard does for club and country, he's an inspirational skipper, he promotes english football around the globe and shows good sportsmanship throughout the game. these clips had to be replayed during the vid because you couldnt find any others + none of these are certain dives, in all of them there is some form of contact. you find pathetic reasons to pick at gerrard when your players and clubs are even more conniving and deceitful.
