  • nice speakers o,0...

  • you like music? ok go learn!

  • Why use so many money for a nice dj setup if u dont have any good speakers and a booster

  • @anderstc95 he might have his speakers set up somewhere else. I always keep my speakers in my garage cuz it would be a pain in the ass to move em to my bedroom after every gig

  • @anderstc95 lol!!!!! well spotted and good question as you see it time and time again on y/t where people spend shit loads on the set up and then play it through some £20 speakers

  • @SMERGHEED Yea buy Cerwin-vega DC-215 speakers then we can talk ! :D

  • Comment removed

  • @anderstc95 try my £1600 atc scm 20 speakers and then we can talk! :D..lol!!!.....check out my set up on my channel fella....bloody moody Dj's....lol!

  • is that a DNX-100? great mixer.

  • nice setup.. i've the same cdjs and creative inspire! I love them! check out my channel! cheers

  • mac is awesome ( i know this comment will make some stupid fanboy pc vs mac argument)

  • and theres denons version to the pioneer djm 909 mixer lmfao all that space on the mixer wasted what do you do with it wile mixing use it to warm your hands up

  • denon...wow!

  • i guess it's timecoded

  • denon is a pretty good dj set, but pioneers are awesome

  • can anyone tell me how to set up cd decks to laptop cheers

  • get a RCA to headphone jack. . Plug the RCA's into Booth on your Mixer & plug the headphone jack into the MIC input on your laptop.

  • get a usb sound card with rca inputs and use booth out if u want good sound quality

  • simple and sweet

  • dns-1000 are the bestest at their price

  • i disagree axis 9 or reloop rmp1 are much better.

  • well he is using garageband right?

  • Yeah.

  • Ok, so you cannot hook up the DNS-1000's up to Virtual DJ or Serato?

  • Actually you can hook it up to Serato. You can even hook up vinyl turntables to Serato. But he is recording in garageband.

  • hey i got a qustion.. ae those powered speakers? and how did you hook them up to your mixer?

  • ive got a set of cheap off brand towers that i use with a car amplifier and an AC/DC converter. You just run the L&R cable that would go to your car deck to your Mixer

  • tune

  • wondering if yu can hook up your denon dns1000s to your laptop....so you can hook it up to serato or virtual dj

  • Yep. You can use them as Serato controllers.

  • thats the DNS1200s not 1000s :)

  • That's de dn s-1000 for sure.

  • yep, thats the DN-s1000

  • yeh, i have em too. defo 1000s

  • RAN A MAC!

  • dude plz dont tell me your playing the music trough those little f*cking speakers, its a waste of music

  • lmfao

  • you don't always need big speakers. Maybe his parents or neighboors don't like enormous amount of bass?

  • vai sa moara mata nu mai are nimeni you just suck

  • BULL SHIT THIS VIDEO...

  • bup... nothing special..

where are the turntables? I agree with tomlikesmusic...

Denon's are ok, it's all about Pioneer though... The industry standard.

  • aah it pains me to look at a setup with no turntables =[

  • yeah true man, unfortunately the art of finding and digging for vinyl is a rare sight these days

  • i know, especially with my music genre "Grime" theres hardly any of the tunes that get on to vinyl, thats why i timecoded them =]

  • what are you on about!! i spend 200 a month on vinyl every month!! as for cdjs they are easy try using a proper deck!

  • F that. I can spend $40 on the same tracks you're picking up, $40 on another set that they're not even PRESSING to vinyl and spend the final $120 on booze and women!

I grew up on "proper decks". Now I get twice the function out of my CDJ's and spend half the money after the initial purchase!

  • denod 1000's are da wackest turntables to scratch with.

  • denod 1000's are da wackest turntables to scratch with.

  • What do u use to hook up the mixers and cdj to ur computer

do u use like a n interface or what?

  • if you're using serato scratch there is a type of interface. you get timecoded CDs, which basically have a long tone on them. you hook the RCA cables from the decks into the serato box (interface), which is connected by usb to your computer. Serato then recognizes the tone on the CD, which controls your track. then the audio from the track itself is outputted through the interface to your mixer, where you can output to your speakers.

  • any programss i can get for my laptop? i just got a denon 1000's and id like a synth any ideas?

  • there are plenty of programs out there for your laptop, but it really depends on what you want to do with it. Are you going to be using it for scratching, mixing, remixing, or just live playback?

  • well to be honest for mixing and maybe for synthing, so i can add some cool noises:P

  • for mixing, i would reccomend ableton or mixmeister, but i dont know alot about synthing and stuff like that, but look for a program with midi inputs for your equipment (ie piano/Keyboard)

  • nice set up.. now get serato scratch live! thats the next big thing on my list..

  • k programma usi?

  • not bad man nice shit !! im dj too and im mixed the way i do :P :-~

  • real sweet setup, but here's mine: 12's(gold limited edition),rane ttm 56, M44-7 and N44-7, serato scratch live 2.0 version, shure headphones w/mic, (2)LX1818AV2 and (2)LX1818V2..but I'm missing sound efx can anybody on here give me some advice on what to get when it comes to the efx....Blaze

  • theres a 2.0 version of serato?

  • i hope to hav something similar to that soon!!

  • thats badass

  • i like men

  • i have a question, do you plug in all the equipment ( mixer and cd players) in to the computer or just the mixer. And how does that work with your computer, do you have to have any special kind of program?

  • good!!

  • is dat garageband?!?!

  • is the program sony acid pro?

  • No, Acid is only available for PC's-the program he is using is GarageBand.

  • what mixer is that?

  • i think its the denon dnx1000

  • sry the denon dnx100

  • DNX 300

  • whats the advantages of using a denon dmx100 mixer

with the dn s1000 cd players have over using other mixers? is it better to get the dmx100 or no

  • that mixer is a waste of money

  • what kind of mixer do you got

  • Wow, Alison Limerick!! Awesome!

  • I've got the same mixer, it's very cool but there's only one problem: I hate the crossfader, it's not suited for scratching (it has a tiny delay that you can hear when you are crabbing)

  • Hehe i own one and i'm gonna buy the second soon :D

    DN-S1000 for the win !

  • is the denon dn-x100 pretty much the same as that one? exept less features?

  • nice setup men i love this setup.

  • nice vid...

  • have u got ur cd decks playin thru that then? whats it like for that kinda thing?

Also, do you dj retro kind of music?

  • Nice setup mate - loving the retro!

What program you got playing through the macbook?

  • it's just running GarageBand mate

  • woot!
