They never even bothered with trying to be marketable in the United States;consequently, Alot of Americans still not living on border states know nothing of this band. I was very fortunate to see them play a small venue on Long Island sometime ago (almost ten years ago now that I think about it - god, I'm getting old!). It was pretty easy to get tickets because they're not huge in the States. Most of the people I met in the crowd were Canuks. ;P

Its quite a big show in Canada. It sums up a little city anywhere in the prairies, but sums up most of Canada's relaxed way of life.

Its good to see people in the US enjoying it. It reminds me a little bit of some of that Seinfeld humor, picking all the little things out in the events of peoples lives. Things that mean nothing, but they make it funny.

Corner gas is one of the two best Canadian TV shows. the other is Trailer Park Boys. but ever notice how in none of the episodes there ever snow? even in the hocker episode there is no snow on the ground.But this show is the best. trailer park boys, second place.
