I'm due to get a 2011 this Friday. I wanted to know, I've read all over that it has a helmet hook on the front of the seat, is this true ? And if so is it like an actual hook or is it a thing where you just snap the helmet on for when you're stopped and kick stand is down ?
@memberson.I can't quite remember what the mileage is but yes I do still own my C3. It's in good condition. I think I need to change it's coolant, that's about it.

@YamahaCubed Talking about douche bags I whated to get a yamaha but all of the dealers around me whated me to pay 600.00 over the MSRP price + taxes and junk fees....? So that's why I have my honda.
@killercrx91. That sucks. Nothing wrong with a Honda. Why pay more than you have to right? If the Yamaha dealers are gonna be that way then I guess they don't need business. My dealer who sold me this scooter deals in many brands including Honda.

If you can help it, do not shop at a dealership that charges you much over msrp for a friggin' 50cc scooter--this is AMERICA there is nothing special enough about a 50cc that you should EVER pay over msrp. Even larger scooters, but a 50cc? OMG WHAT A STEALERSHIP I bet they don't last long
@burrogts. Thanks and yes the C3 will outrun the 49cc Ruckus acceleration AND top speed with both being stock. I've outrun a Ruckus myself with my C3.
My C3 started just fine. Stop with the ignorant troll fanboy crap. It started at first kick. It can start just fine with the starter motor but why bother when you have a kickstart that won't put any tax on the battery? I SAID it had a little strain in minus 0 weather.
@YamahaCubed That's cool. I say if the car runs good then you're good. I don't like it when others judge people by their cars/bikes because a lot of times they like their vehicle a lot. If you say someone's car/motorcycle looks stupid they may come back at you saying it turned out to be the most reliable vehicle they ever owned, and the looks really grew on them. Then you start to see the light and the vehicle suddenly looks nice :)
i have a 1980 yamaha scooter started first kick in 10 degree weather. Best scooters out there.

I use the 10W40 amsoil AMO which is the same thing as the motorcycle oil for a few bucks less.
My c3 starts just the same in colder weather. Also we can smoke any honda 49 cc stock to stock.
