  • Can't you do this all with a power washer?

  • why was the tire white and nasty looking after?? you should have wiped all the resedue off the rim and tire

  • Next time find a place without so much noice around good video !!

  • might want to film in an area without so much backround noise( Traffic) next time.

  • Hey Kyle,

Don't get me wrong reall good job. I mean u reaally went into detail. Personally i Use armor all's wheel and tire clean or Meguire's wheel cleaner on both rim and tire. I rinse them Use the tire cleaner and scrub all of it with a tire brush. The rinse all of it and dry the rim. I let the tire air dry and the just use Black Magic tire shine and i get the same kinda results u get. All I'm saying is that u gave urself a lot of extra work.

  • Ha Kyle, have you ever kissed a girl

  • my grandma has a 2000 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with 216,000 Miles on the SUV.

  • Valve stem kyle valve stem (the hose thing) :)

  • Hey kyle,

when i get my car, i will make it all dirty drive down there and have you clean it! you seem like you put alot of work and quality into what you do, i appreciate that alot!

    keep up the good work!

  • Why the F would you leave that armorall on your tire and not wipe it off?!

  • His voice sounds a lot different then

  • this is the most stupid, nig video I've ever watched

  • Does anyone know how to remove that white dust that comes on new tires?

  • Valve stem... :)

  • if u like this video watch mine on how properly wipe ur ass. just kiddin great job kid!!!

  • looks like someone jizzed all over it.

  • how miny days will it take u for one wheel

  • get life

  • I couldn't agree more that if the wheels don't look clean the whole car won't look clean. On that same page, even just cleaning the wheels doesn't do it for me. The tires need a shine too. Then a car looks bangin'. You can have your wheels spotless but a spot on tire rolling down the road blurs everything to me. I'm not saying you didn't obviously but to me, that's the kicker. That or gray plastic or rubber that should be black. Good video and good result!

  • It so lol

  • oh hell no with that qtip

  • Thanks for the tips Kyle! My wheels are a pain in the ass to clean (regularly unfortunately), because of the brake dust. Keep up the awesome videos, and throw in some more Mercedes if you get the chance! haha, take care.

  • what cleaner did you use. I have been using black magic and its worked fairly OK since i havent scrubbed the wheels down

  • man these wheels are NOT dirty

  • what i do is go to the manual car was, drench the tires, and push the tire cleaner button, get em all soapy with the tire cleaner and rins it away..... and my tires look flawless......

  • note not all wheels are the same and I never see anyone on these "how to" clean wheels vids on picking a correct cleaner for the type of finish on the wheel... The wheel you see hear is a clear coated aluminum so it can handle soap or other cleaners that do not have a neutral base, but if it was polished it can haze over time. Best way to clean any wheel is with a neutral wheel cleaner like Black Magic.

  • I'd hire you. Anyone who uses a q-tip on a wheel is ok in my book.

  • can u show us how to like clean ur tires like u remember how u made ur tires look like glass before i wanna see how u do that can u show us how to do it?

  • wtf is a q-tip?

  • cotton bud - what you clean your ears with - even though they say you shouldn't!

  • i think it's better to clean the tire first (especially if you're using a brush), so that the dirt can't fall on the already cleaned rim.

    5*

  • looks like my grand mas ride lol!

  • constant use of chemical cleaners on your alloy or steel wheels will attack the surface and make it more prone to dirt ingress and staining, preferably from new have your wheels laquered with a hard wearing clear coat .then just use soap and water regularly

  • i noticed you got your hands dirty try useing westley bleach white find it at any walmart....the wheels on the explorer were hardly a mess

  • what are you talking about jeffery hunt

  • you sound like a preacher.

  • that look perfectly clean compared to the one i just to my 01 ranger

  • killiintegra try using steel wool on the inside not the front of it only the inside of the rim were the brake dust is make sure its wet while you do it. and test in a small area of rim first because some rims it could scratch it.

  • we have a 2001 ford ranger with those exact rims. they are filthy. whats the best stuff to take off stains and dirt?

  • Don't use Armor All. It's been known to ruin rubber and vinyl. Great video though 5/5.

  • what kind of all purpose wheel cleaner do you use? Or do you make it from scratch?

  • in the description he uses armor all

  • armor all was the polisher not the wheel cleaner

  • question for you. i have 92 honda accord wagon (CB9) and i tried to detail the rims and im having a hard time getting the dirt/rust all inside the rim. what do you suggest of cleaning them

  • Use a product called Super Clean All-Wheel Cleaner. You can't go wrong there.

  • Comment removed

  • Last time I did my wheels it failed miserably, I let the wheel cleaner dry on the wheels and now theres streaks like crazy. I'll have to try this next time I wash my car.

  • The hose air thing is called a valve stem.

  • lol thank you for pointing that out

  • Hey bud,

I thought I was the only one who tried to be so immaculate with cleaning my car. I have always tried hard to get the tires and wheels to look perfect. I agree with what you said about them making the whole car look finished. Like saying goes, "if the shoe fits...."

I will definetly try a couple tips you mentioned. Thanks a bunch.

  • No problem dude I'm glad to hear that the video was helpful, it's my first attempts at instructional videos so it's always good to hear that it is helping people! Thanks again and good luck and if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask! Take care

  • @saabkyle04 Im also into keeping cars immaculate, usually when wheels and other parts are really bad with baked on dirt, just brush on some engine degreasent carelessly. It works like a charm

  • very informational seeing as i just got a 1997 explorer and it was sitting in a barn at my dads i just cleaned the interior now its on to the exterior and believe it or not the car looks nice just needs a clean on the out side.

  • Thanks a lot I appreciate it, even better since you have an explorer as well. I hope it all works out and if you have any questions whatsoever about detailing feel free to ask! Good Luck!
