This song is a also a remake on his son Derrick Wright and Driven's album and it's featuring Melanie Daniels, and of course she tears it down with her amazing anointing....and it sounds just as inspiring with a modern twist..
This is one of the best gospel songs I have ever heard, it sums up our purpose as Christians perfectly. it moves me every single time I hear it....anytime I have a negative though I sing this song to myself and it uplifts me right away. Be blessed
This one has been one of my extreme favorites for a long time. They need to do a remix of this one, only sounding the same. This song moves me in such a way (whew)
@ rachelmm05 it is on Rev. Timothy Wright and the Chicago Interdenominational Mass Choir Album "I'm Glad About It" Savoy Records 1991. Jesse Campbell is the lead singer.

@cornell4653 Be careful about that word "chant". That comes from witchcraft. As you know God hates any and everything to do with witchcraft. Just sharin
Thank you for this I have been searching the net for this song for a while and could not find it anywhere. I so want to have it to listen to it on my mp3 each morning as i wake cause i really do need this.
It was The Gospel Fest in the Summer of 1992 in Chicago. I first witnessed Jesse Campbell believed before he began secular music. Choir w/ / Rev. White they performed this song. Jessie was younger then and very annoited. Didn't know he was orginallly from Chicago my hometown. His voice was something I never heard before. Want to share my memory with you guys. Very sorry to learn about the tragedy of Rev. Wright. This song was and still is my favorite by Jessie and Rev. Wright.
This song and all of the songs on this CD got me through a rough time in my life. I'm glad this was posted. It helped me remember that if you just hang in long enough "Trouble Don't Always Last" and "I'm Glad About It".
Man, when I was in college, the church I was going to used to have the college kids jam this! It became a favorite and always will be! Thanks for posting it and peace to all the saints who may be going through and all those that are coming out of whatever! Peace!
Is that Jesse Powell singing the solo for Rev T. Wright? Cause it sounds just like him!! and Rev Wright says Come here Jesse, at the begining of the song!!
Wish they would put this on iTunes
