Oh man, you're brilliant! :DD Also I just noticed how fat the new daleks are... and I was like... have they Americanized the daleks, is that what they've done?.. I hate the new design, they look all candy and lego and gay... Old daleks looked all metal, tank and sinister... >( They looked riddiculous enough already, what with the 'plunger' and the 'egg whisk' and the 'pepper shaker' shape... :/

Only complaint I have with the new daleks is the paint jobs. They look too much like plastic toys but that is easily fixed.

@TattyBobble Actually, we didn't see much of them because they're hard to write for. I mean, you don't want to make them too beatable, so that it's not exciting when they show up. Steven Moffat said that was his reason for keeping them out. As for the new seasons, they are actually really awesome, just differant. Why don't you give'em another try?

The new dalek designs confuse me a bit. I keep expecting to see someone shout: "Now comes in any of FIVE DIFFERENT COLORS for only $19.99!! Order now and get free shipping!"

Anyone notice there's no purple dalek? :)

However, as the daleks keep changing throughout the series, they do get a bit more interesting. They used to be significantly more...homogeneous. Will they develop personality? Are the different colors actually suggesting that each dalek is different, an individual from the others?

@seerka13 From what I understand, the different colors go along with the different classes: Scientist, Strategist, Drone, Eternal, and the Supreme. As for the personality thing, as interesting as the idea is, I doubt it. Dalek 'personality' change and growth has only occured under special circumstances. Now we are dealing with pure-blooded Daleks, untainted in any way. Looking back to what the Daleks actually are-genetically engineered with emotion removed, save for hate.
