  • hay were can i find one this awesome train i have look every wear

  • @1macgeorge Yes, the minimum curve on that engine is 0-42

  • Ok but i have a yard do you think i could run it on that and at my hobbey shp they have o-48 curves do you think i could run it on that

    thaks,mac

  • Hi Matt its Mac Brown im 9 and i have O-36 curves do you think i could run it the hybrid on that track and i do not have legacy and i have a yard with a lot of non curve track do you think i could run it on that

  • @1macgeorge I recommend Not because of the couplers can get strained and it is not meant to do those curves I learned that already

  • This locomotive was based of the ES44AC and they have not used this hybrid locomotive due to the many problems GE has faced. Some tests have failed due to explosions in the engine itself. Until it is "safe" it will not be released but further tested on.

  • awsome engine i hope it comes out soon in mth with the passenger cars

  • Nice locomotive!

  • Hey Matt real nice video how old are you?? is this your dads layout and trains? how did someone so young get into these highend trains did you hit the lottery lol good job keep the videos coming.

  • Hey Matt, where do you get your engines? i looked on ebay and at my local hobby shop and i didnt see any GE hybrids there.

  • Where did you get it?

  • Do you know what's with the smaller mirror right above the number 0?

  • Could you post a video showing the Pennsy cc2s?

  • ohhhh yes great video and yes i want it too... good job..

  • Hey Matt, this is Lionels best diesel engine by far. Enjoy it!

  • sounds are so cool if I got it I would run it back and forth just to here the brakes and the air sounds when it stops.

  • FREAKIN AWESOME REVIEW!! nice and colorful for ur layout!! good luck with it!

  • great job on the overview. I am not tellin you what to do but if i were you i would focus on getting some good nice scale cars from lionel like refers and stuff you have such nice engine like me but ur running starter set cars and it doesnt look right.

  • awesome engine matt!

can you tell me what the minimum radius is for the 1225?

  • @PRRK4Lover Hey Jared! Mat Told me If I did all O60's on my main Line that I could get a berkshire, so I'm assuming the minimum is O54??? If that's any help, see what Matt says though.

  • @PghTrainFanatic yes, thats what im assuming as well. Im thinking about getting some 0-60 and making ad legacy lines on our layout. Possibly getting a Berkshire.

  • @PRRK4Lover Minimum curve radius is 054

  • @GEOMIMI89 thanks George!

  • Dude I love this! I really want the new CP one! great video to!

  • This was Just an Awesome Review Mat!! You did remind me how much I want one of these!!!! Maybe this xmas. So you ran it around an O48 curve and it worked? If so thats sweet, but I'm not currently thinking of making an extension and also making the whole main line O60 curves anyways. but If I decide not to That's important info for me man! Thanks so much bro!

  • @PghTrainFanatic I have not trrid to run it on 048 i do not have that curve but it says it can run on 0 48 i will make a video on just the box

  • @PghTrainFanatic But there is an advantage for O-60 curves a C&O Berkshire just like mine is on ebay you might want to get it

  • @Railroadtrip445 That;s what I'm thinking too, O60 will give me more options for loco's in the future, but I would only be able to run them on the main, and not in the yard areas. Love to get a berk but I have other things right now to buy and save for, definitely a future consideration! Thanks Matt!
