It's been a while, if I have to cap something I use Windows and Camstudio, but I believe there is gvidcap/xvidcap for linux. Google it you'll find it.
I'm having a lot of trouble installing Compiz on my debian/KDE4 system. I got compiz on the system but I can't figure out how to make it my window manager.
Using KDE 4.1 right now. I must say even without Compiz Fusion its pretty sweet... except for the NVidia driver issue.... If NVidia don't fix it I'm gonna have to consider other hardware options cause if I have to choose, KDE 4.1 stays and NVidia goes. :P

lol!
1. There is no Shareware called "Hypercam 2" on Unix/Linux-GNU!
2. Desktop captur applications eat the system ressources like the cookie monster cookies.

Hmm, you're right. I use Exposé (On Mac though) every day. But, not everything of it is useful, like for instance, wobbly windows.

Quondam1649 3 years ago
Ah I didn't realise it was "you"!
Music apt for this post or the Port Sunlight one which was the Eagles: "New Kid in Town"
RoganJoshua 3 years ago
Port Sunlight. "New Kid in Town" you like for a bit then by the end of it you're sick of it.
Quondam1649 3 years ago
Kooool! What's that music in the background?
Quondam1649 3 years ago
I think Art Tatum
