@celebration81 No not what so over did he hate these people. Liszt's biggest influence, even beyond his music, but his very soul stems from Beethoven and the Gypsies. He was fascinated with them, their freedom and improvisations. His Hungarian Rhapsodies will attest to that. Please be more well informed when speaking of such a great artist, and above all great man. Liszt had a character that rivals most mere mortals, other than Jesus himself.
