Hey Gentlemanbunny! Want a curved blade? I just found a scrap of plastic that was a nice strip so I just took it and folded it in half loosely and taped the end together ^^ Im sure it would work well to cut the mouth part of this perfect :) P.S. I can never get this right haha!

When i do canes and bake them, they always become crumbly and ugly when i slice them. Im using cernit clay, i have a very sharp blade, and i only bake the canes for 2 minutes! Maybe sculpey or fimo is better to use to make canes with.. What do you think?

@Loviore Hmm...cernit clay might be one of the problems. It's somehow more hard and crumbly than FIMO or Sculpey.

@ImagineGymnast22 Try chilling it first in the fridge so it doesn't distort as much, and use a really sharp tool to cut with. Cut straight downward, and try turning your canes after each cut so it doesn't distort the same way with each cut. Good luck!
