my ipod touch says connect to power ill connect it and the little lightnig bolt will come up and then the apple picture thing and stays like that for likr 2 minutes then goes black and goes back to the lightning bolt that says its charging the goes back to the apple piture and keeps doing it i did the reboot thing and nothing happend what should i do ? please help

Hey i need some help. im trying to fix my friends itouch and your trick doesnt work. here is whats happening:

-We were listening to music and all a sudden the entire thing shut off and the whole thing went dead

-The itouch was NOT jailbroken

-When i plug it into my PC it doesnt agknowledge is there at all. usually a little 'installing device' thing would come up, but it didnt

-it wont go into DFU/Recovery mode at all

- we cant call apple support because she bought it in colombia.

HELP ME

i bought my ipod touch yesterday, got it jailbroken and was downloading a theme n customise, until it froze

so i held down the home and the turn off screen button at the same time

then the screen went black and a faint apple sign came on follwed by the itunes thing and the cable

i pluged it into itunes

i follwed the promts to restore it in itunes,

but after "preparing ipod for recover"

it says could not restore because of an unkown error (1604)
