just go to customize scroll to the bottom and tap springboard strings scroll down to slide to unlock or slide to power off

and just type what you want

then exit

sprigboard will restart and your text will be there

you don't need to use computer to change the slide to unlock word. Just install customize application on ipod touch through installer.
