What they did was more along the lines of Euthanasia than Eugenics, though, they achieved a similar result. Selective breeding is used on plants and animals because it works faster than the trial and error of nature at eliminating weak genes that hinder the future offspring.

When I was younger I use to disagree with eugenics but as I got wiser I realize that it might actually be a pretty bright idea considering how many ignorant trolls who are in denial about our government corruption. I feel that maybe they would have a better intelligence to stand up against the tyranny of the government instead of being in complete ignorance regardless of how much evidence is put in their face.

I'm not speaking for or against eugenics, but don't we practice eugenics with dogs? It has seem to work with them, so how is it a pseudo science? We have created smarter and stronger breeds with eugenics. I think humans practice subconcience eugenics anyway. We have a tendency to select opposite sexes that are physically and mentally well balanced. I think this is our inner animal telling us to produce strong children. Just a thought.

There is nothing immoral about it, I think it is actually quite ethical, the goal of improving the fittness of the gene pool for future generations, all hereditary diseases could be eliminated, all retarded or mentally handicapped fetuses would not have to go through life without any quality of it.
