He did great though. I've been doing it since I was just 4 and I still drop my gaurd.It's a bad habit but it's not hugely important when you're his age. Tell him to keep up the good work cuz he's doing awesome :D
This is good. I do taekwondo aswell. I'm a black tip and im 13. I was suprised to see that when they were sparring nobody had thier gaurd up to protect themselves. In our club, if you drop your gaurd then the ref will tell you to put it up again. He did great :)
@FutureMrsZaynMalik Right, you are very right about that. Somewhere, somehow he will learn to keep his guard up. It's a big fault, and he has been told to have his guard up. ~I think maybe after so many times of being told it's up to the student and the parents to enforce that technique. But, yes you are right about that. And I'll keep drilling him about keeping the guard up and use it.
