  • Nope totally legal and lots of fun!!;p

  • isnt this illegal?

  • RubberBand Man WILD AS THE TALIBAN!!!!! Nice vid man

  • Having a problem with my dissconnector pre-maturely dissconnecting, causing the hammer to fall too soon..BC gets caught on the hammer half way down, and fails to load the next round...What is happening? how do I fix? will a drop in trigger system fix this? Very frusterating

  • @asspilothole Join the firingline forums, they'll help ya find out what's wrong!

  • Is there a difference in single stage vs. two stage trigger systems with this technique? Thanks!

  • Barrels only differ on the high melting end. All barrels will melt with extreme use. A M4A1 barrel will last 3.5 minutes on full auto, a cheap AR15 barrel will last 2.25 minutes on full auto fire. Both will warp and become dangerous to use after 1.75 minutes of full auto fire. The more you play, the more pay.

  • should that damage your AR barrel,? considering is not design for rapid fire?

  • @hombregato2: There is no difference between a M16 barrel vs a AR15 barrel!

  • @NineMMAR15

Most ar15 barrels are not chrome lined, all Gov. m16 barrels are. (per TACOM) With that being said, I do agree that the standard barrel should hold up for a good two mags before any heat transfer starts affecting it.

  • @frogleg13 Most aren't but many AR-15 manufacturers do chrome line their barrels. Thats the difference between a $700 Bushmaster and an $900 Smith & Wesson

  • @epluribusunom all bushmaster m4 style rifles come chrome lined

  • @NineMMAR15 There is, however, a big difference between M4 feed ramps and standard AR-15 feed ramps. There is also a difference between a bolt carrier group designed for full auto fire and a BCG designed for semi fire, especially on carbine length gas systems.

  • @032125 Most AR's come with M4 feed ramps these days rather than the older style "rifle" feed ramps. The difference between a FA BCG and a SA BCG is that there is more material on the back of the FA which is meant to slow down the rate of fire. Any good AR manufacturer will include a FA bolt carrier (such as PSA, Spikes, Colt etc..)

  • @NineMMAR15 you're wrong, but its cool, go on about your day

  • @NineMMAR15 in a lot of casses an ar-15 barrel is better. Thicker more accurate chrome. Daniel Defense, delton, centurion arms, bravo company barrels are a lot better, cold hammer forged.

  • this is cool as hell, but unfortunately the libtards are going to use this to ban our "scary" "assault weapons"

  • whats the legality of this

  • @taimoor006 Totally legal.

  • @krazykelley092 Someone did get locked up a few years back for using a piece of string to assist in bumpfiring.

  • kool

  • This technique will work but you better be ready to burn up 100-200 rds to figure out the technique to getting it to run continously. It's no where as easy as this guy makes it look with a rubber band or a tac trigger.

  • Your videos make me smile :)

  • Is that an Aimpoint scope?

  • Nice Sbr.

  • Do you think its possible to do this with a pistol if you used a small enough rubber band?

  • Are those pre 1986 rubber bands?

  • @mocatz187 they are probably going to ban all the post-1986 rubber bands, we should really start stocking up right now

  • i just could n ot make this work any advise ? thanks

  • More incredible than the rubber band trick is the expert control of the weapon. Good shooting!

  • How well does this work on rifles which don't have an exposed mag well? Like if you did this on a Springfield M1A or any AK, you'd need to wrap the rubber band directly around the magazine which seems like it'd cause misfeeds from having pressure pulling on the magazine.

  • I heard rubber bands have already been banned in the states of Anger, Nirvana, Happiness, Excitement, Rage, and Shock. You get a heft fine in those states if caught bump firing with rubber bands.

  • @jephboy - do you mean the People's Republik of Kalifornja?

  • Is this rough on the trigger mechanisms?

  • @imh11621 - of course it is. automatic fire means more rounds fired under greater friction. this means more wear

  • @imh11621 Yes, This will put more wear on the trigger mechanism than a real full auto m16 would because the entire trigger group is actuated 1 time for each round fired. Only the auto sear and hammer perform work on a full auto.

  • @mocatz187 That's what I thought.

  • THats AWesome ! ATFR coming to a house near you. AKA alcohol tobacco firearms and rubberbands

  • can rubberband bumpfiring be done with a .22 rifle or is there not enough recoil for that to work?

  • @bigred002rw ive tried and could never get it to work, not enough recoil is what i figure.

  • @SNIPERSTEVE420 - Maybe you should try using a lighter rubber band.

  • Cool!!! oh man cant wait till im at the range with my ak 47 rubber band and a couple 30rd clips ha ha iv got to try this!

  • that was $6.00 of moollah. head shot baby.

    luv da gun

  • So do you only squeeze the trigger using the rubber band method? Or do you also have to pull the gun forward with your left hand...

  • megadeth ftw!

  • niiiiiiice

  • awesome i will try it on my ar and ak and on my handgun too!

  • Sweet !!!

  • way i see it......he's at a indoor firing range....if the band was "illegal" wouldnt he get kicked ie cops called etc etc

  • Definitely one of the best "Bump Firing" video I have seen to date.

  • i tried it on my bushmaster AR15 and AK 47 after watching this and it WORKS...just get ready for the huge grin on your face afterwards that doesn't go away...also bring lots of ammo

  • Man, I am in love with your RRA 9mm! That's so nice. Great video BTW. Thanks for posting.

  • This is a beautiful thing. Iv'e tried all the commercialized add ons to get auto fire out of my Ruger Mini 30 and found them to be all crap. I've tried this and it works wonderfully however one has to change tactics a bit. Instead of using the conventional practice of pulling and/or locking the weapon into your shoulder you need to learn to relax and after engaging the weapon, learn to push forward on the stock as it fires and allow it to do its thing naturally. Takes a bit of practice but works

  • cool vid fuck the haters good party trick

  • Seems silly to discuss whether or not it is "expensive" to shoot ammo like that. What is expensive to some is cheap to others. Plus, that's not the point of the vid. It's just this guy showing others how to bump fire.

Good vid. Thanks for the fun.

  • never thought of trying this but i know the its sound, thanks for the vid. bunch of crybabys.......ammo expensive. its called reloading people or you should have bought ammo(lots, 10k+) when it was cheap like me.

  • useless its not even a technique its just wasting ammo and marskamanship.

  • Agreed. I don't see blowing 20 bucks worth of ammo everytime I want to bump fire through a magazine. Glad HE can afford it. =)

  • you can waste marksmanship? lol...

its not useless, its fun! you should try it sometime... fun is good for your health

  • It might not be fun for you but many others enjoy it, does that mean that everyone that bumpfires a firearm is stupid? and that you're smart because you don't bumpfire? lol

not everyone is a penny pinching poor shooter, some actually enjoy shootin the shit, burning ammo, having FUN!

  • ahhh now i get it... you're just upset that you can't bump fire your bolt rifle, lol

well i've never done it myself, i've shot from the hip which is great fun, i'll be bumping my 858 the next time I get outdoors, i'll make a video of myself with a huge grin on my face and send it your way, lol....

  • yes... i can.

  • @EricsTechTalk

With the way things are going in our gov right now, I wouldn't waste ammo in this manner either. If you are smart you'll stockpile every rd you can get your hands on and sit on it. I promise you'll need it one day soon.

  • @gunlover19112

    Youre a fucking idiot

  • Still perfecting your technic dude. This really does work with or without the rubberband. Have tried it on many types of guns, Mac 10, 'AK pistol. Had some trouble with the Rock River AR pistol though. Keep rockin.

  • Whats the poit of saving $40 when your just going to use that in ammo in about a minute?

  • POIT! XD

  • Shuddup! :P **point

  • you would be doing the same with a 40$ tack trigger.

    i.e. burning ammo.

PS. stock up on rubber bands there is legislation in the works to ban them.

    awesome video!

  • I would love to see this legislation!

  • @NineMMAR15 Careful what you ask for, they'll ban rubber bands.

  • We the BATF ban our trigger fingers

    next?????

  • If they raid you and don't find what they're looking for, they'll get you for possession of a plastic soda bottle or shoestrings. The charges wil be possession of silencer parts or possesion of parts to modify a firearm into a full auto firearm.

  • @digitalkaos nice

  • sweet

  • @mooserman911 nnn

  • if i could afford anyting rock river i could aford to upgrade it correctly

  • Rubber band $0.02

legal auto sear $10,000+ paper work and waiting for background checks and paying for the tax stamp and finger printing and getting the local head of law enforcement to sign off on it and all the BS to go with it.

  • If you own your own range this is ok, If I tried that on any range around me I would get kicked out or they might call the police. With the ammo prices we have its silly to do this.

  • thats a nice spread, man.

  • didn't the ATF once prosecute someone over doing something similar with a shoestring?? it may be legal under the law, but with the way that the ATF PMSs all over the place I wouldn't give them a reason to mess with me.

  • The shoestring made the weapon fire automatically by I believe charging the garand. The rubber bands does the same things as a trigger spring, it returns the trigger faster and harder. The OP has already stated that the rubber band is kind of a joke.

  • the shoestring trick technically modifies it to fire full auto so that is "manufacturing" a machine gun which is illegal.

  • I always wore sandals to the range...so no hassle of either stopped and arrested by the ATF or DHS for me ;]

    lol.

  • So you hide the shoe lace in your pocket? haha

  • I wouldn't walk in the bank with my shoe lace knowing it can turn my guns into full auto! lol! I don't think it works, they were arguing about this in 05. If it works there will be plenty of its' videos on youtube already instead of regular bumpfiring right?

  • I have never tried bump firing with any of my rifles so I don't know from experience.

  • I wish I can pull a trigger around 700rpm! then the gun won't be fully auto...cus a person IS fully auto lol.

  • Or you can just make a crank trigger. You spin the crank to shoot the rifle. Because it is hand powered it is not a machine gun.

  • Are you dumb? It isn't making a semi auto a machine gun, it is just pulling the trigger faster. It isn't rocket science. And if you know anything about guns, or combat for that matter you'd know that machine guns are inherently inaccurate and a waste of ammo.

  • You're partly right on that one, they are inaccurate and spend a lot of ammunition they are essential to many tactics in modern combat such as suppressing fire. Which is why there is almost always a machine gunner in a team

  • Many tactics? Suppression is the only tactic. This is why the army (and more 1st world/modern armys) no longer issue full auto small arms as a standard infantry weapon. While there is more than 1 reason for it, consider Vietnam. Vietnam was the last time US troops were issued a full auto small arm. It took approx. 50,000 per kill.

Don't think I am knocking bumpfiring. But for combat/self defense. Nothing beats a single well placed shot.

  • True that the M16 usually doesn't come with a fully automatic option but the SA80 does, and also AK47 and the G36 and the famas and the QBZ-95 and the Howa Type 89. Seeing a pattern here? Plus I would choose a full automatic over a burst in a room clearing any day of the week (except maybe sundays)

  • The US Military's version of the M16 doesn't come fully auto but manufacturers of it still make it in full auto for anyone who wants to/can own one.

  • While it is true that the British have the SA80it never found success outside of the UK (and even inside the UK). The AK fits my example perfectly for suppression fire. The rudimentary sights and full auto capability was made for the Soviet doctrine of mass fire. Fire as many bullets as possible and it is bound to hit something. The G36 never found success outside Germany and neither did the FAMAS. Rifles that found more success include semi or burst ARs, FALs, MP5s, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine.

  • the SA80, the g36 and the Famas and all the other rifles I mentioned didn't find success outside their own country because other developed countries make their own. And the AR's are basically the M16, Fn Fal and MP5 both come with a fully automatic capability and M1 garand and Carbine are old and I don't think they're used in any modern army. But you're missing my point. I'm not saying fully automatic fire is better, I'm saying that it should always be an option 'cause the task may require it.

  • or satuday if your a jewish spree killer lol

  • Nothing? Hmm, what about 2 well placed shots?

  • @Josh3239 i know alot about combat my friend and i must say you are wrong on this comment. i can direct fire on a man size target with a 240g. with the mp4sd i can keep on a 5 inch target at 15 yards.

  • hello, what do you think about Jewell trigger to optimise bump fire?

  • AWSOME!!!!!! i just bought the TROY M7 100% brand new preban.... MY FFL is the only distributor putting these together with unfired prebanned lowers. IM ADDING THE RUBBER BAND!!!!!!

  • NINE, what length is that barrel? it looks like a SBR

  • It is a SBR! Barrel is 10.5 inches!

  • the only problem i possibly see is the semi auto AR & a full auto AR use different barrels to handle the excessive heat from full auto.

BUT THIS IS AWSOME!!!!!! wheres my rubber bands???

  • Actually the AR15's use the same barrels as the M16's. The only difference between the two is the fire control components.

  • NINE, thanks for correcting me... Im going to the range tonight to try this... cant wait. Testing on my Wilson combat ar15 223 & my 45 UZI

YOU JUST SAVED ME A TON OF MONEY!!!!!!

    keep it up my friend

  • I think what he was talking about is that the 'patrolman' type semi-auto carbines have a lighter barrel due to their lighter use and limited fire rates but most milspecs have the heavy/chrome lined because they are generally engineered for sustained rates of fire.

The heavier steel helps maintain accuracy and barrel integrity and the chrome lining wards off a myriad nuances that folks under the correct circumstance would have the misfortune of experiencing.

thanks for sharing this btw :)

  • Thats a negitive, M16 are meant for the government 556 round not the civilian version 223 meant for the AR15's. The 556 has more chamber pressure and firing it from a AR15 can often result in extended wear and very possible damage to the rifle. The M16 Barrel is also rifled at 1:7 (One turn every 7 Inches) the AR's tend to have a slower ratio depending which company you buy from. There are also a couple competition companies that produce a dual 556 and 223 AR ~ USAF

  • @N3FF42 Civilian semiauto Ar-15's also come chambered in 5.56.

  • @N3FF42Several civilian semiauto Ar-15's also come chambered in 5.56 and with different twist rates.

  • @N3FF42 TONS of AR-15s have a 5.56 chamber these days. 10 years ago, it may have been hard to find a 5.56 AR, but almost all of them on the shelf I've seen are 5.56 right now. Most ARs have a 1:9 twist, but 1:7 is not hard to find. My friend's Colt 6920 is 1:7 and has a 5.56 chamber.

  • @N3FF42 Please do not post anymore on this topic as you are spreading misinformation.

  • ROCK ON!!!!!!!

  • u rock dude

  • REALLY...... Cause I have a letter from the ATF FTB stating other wise! Thanks for your concern!

  • For your information: My firearm, as seen in my video is a registered short barreled rifle, filled out via NFA form 1. Adding the rubber band in order to assist with the technique of bump firing is no different than installing the Hell Storm 2000 triggers devices that are still legal today. Which has been legal for the last 30+ years. Again I thank you for you concern!

  • You have got to be the dumbest person on youtube 2spotjack.

  • this is not illegal to do it does not modify the fire arm "The device merely acted as an auxiliary trigger return spring and did not change the mechanical functioning of the firearm" suck it +1 for technicalities

  • @doubletap22 your wrong, there has been quite a few successful prosecutions by the BATFE nationwide with the most recent being a case that was reported from a YOUTUBE user watching someone else's video. There is federal legislation that specifically governs what this man is doing in the video.......its illegal.

  • In the 1700s our ancestors threw a tea party for shit-fucks who believed that we needed to have taxes and forms for EVERYTHING.

I used to be the "man" too spotjack but i didn't trade my constitutional rights and common sense for it.... it's a god damned rubber band.

  • does it work on a mini 14?

  • Sure will! However the mini 14 will bumpfire without the use of any device!

  • is it hard on the trigger group assembly, does it wear it out faster or not really?

  • The only thing that has ever broken on my gun was the hammer and trigger pins. To prevent them from breaking again I purchased KNS anti rotation pins.

  • How is your AR so short. The Barrel and all. How is that legal. I live in Virginia and we are very gun liberal. I have my CCW and all.

  • The firearms is a registered short barrel rifle. Pay a $200 tax stamp to the ATF, and you can shorten the barrel. Provided your state allows NFA weapons.

  • I felt stupid after asking the question. The shop I go to told me that in the past...I just got so happy when I saw the bump fire technique that I had to try it on my bushmaster...THANK

  • You apply to get your tax stamp from the ATF. After filling out form 1 and a more paperwork, along with with a signature from your chief law enforcement officer, then if you are approved, your barrel can be shortened.

  • this works on the 10/22 also

  • Who makes the vertical foregrip on your AR? I would like to buy one. Nice video by the way.

  • Vertical grip was made by Tango Down!

  • Few more months and colt will have their 22 cal ar15 on the market for $500 bucks, Bump fireing that will be fun and cheap.

  • you know a buddy of mine thats still in the army was telling be about a trick he picked up in the sandbox. using a dental rubber band (braces) inside the trigger control group holding the secondery catch back. dont know if its leagle or not but he said it worked in iraq

  • Also another thing, do you have to fire the trigger a certain way when you have that rubber band or do you just fire normally?

  • You still have to used bump fire techniques. Sadly you can not hold onto the pistol grip like you would if you were shooting a M16 machine gun!

  • what kind of stock is that on your RRA?

  • The stock is made by Vltor!

  • Will this work on an SLR-107CR? (An AK variant)

  • I have seen it work with the AK Clones!

  • That was quick. Thanks

  • is that at popguns?

  • It sure is!

  • did you work there? you look familiar

  • Yes I did for about 8 years. I stop in to shoot and to chat.

  • cool i go in there every once in a while too. nice job on the video by the way. great idea i am going to have to try it out for sure

  • I tried this today with my Bushmaster AR-9mm! FUCKING AWESOME! Eat crow Obama!

  • Great video!

  • Question, I own a 9mm AR15... I'm left handed and get gun powder blown into my face whenever I fire. I noticed you have an OD Green piece by your ejection port which looks like its there to help. Is that a add-on and if so, whats it called.

  • That is a 9MM brass deflector.

  • Appreciate it!

  • nice. we are going to be moving to Indi from Las Vegas ...will we survive?

  • wonderful

  • hey great vid man nice review im just wondering the ar 15 ist normaly 9mm the gun range just made eevery thingg 9mm bc of led poisning right? im 13 when i went to vegas at a gun range thats what they said they converted every thing to 9 mm bc of led poisning is that why its like that with the shop there i shot the m16 and the glock its awesome yea nice vid 5/5 im going to subscribe :D

  • this gun is suitable for swat team for engaaging some palces

  • What kind of scope are you using there?

  • What's the name of the song?

  • Megadeth - Diadems

  • Thanks! I love the beginning of it, but I couldn't think of who it was.

  • srry i can hear very good the name of the machingun..... iam not american ...some one can give me the name

  • its an AR15 (a civilian semi automatic version of an M4, which is a shorter version of M16) only it is chambered in 9mm Para round
