Hey I started taking accutane in the 7th grade. I had acne on my face chest and back. It took over a month for it to clear up but it finally did. It works for acne anywhere on your body. The only side effect I had was a bloody nose when I first started taking it. But it really is a miracle. O and chapped lips but you can avoid that by taking it every couple days and it still worked for me. Glad it worked for ya.

@TalentedRacer Put isopropyl alcohol on your shaver before you shave, and then rinse the alcohol off and shave. i had the same problem, and I do it daily
im 15 and i suffer acne since 2007... before i had acne i was really energetic dancing everywhere i had a lot of personality but now i don't .... my parents have wasted a lot of money and im just tired of it.... should i try accutane or not?
@XiomaraCancino I had acne for four years, and now, its all gone. It all went away in six months. Try it, it will help. I had no side effects except dry lips. Just make sure you are a healthy person, beware of alcohol

My son is 12 and since 11 hes had cystic acne, hes been on antibiotics and creams but nothings worked, they took blood on tues and they want to put him on Accutane on Monday but im having a hard time making a decision whether to put him on it so young esp with all the scary side effects, but seeing it makes such a difference to you and any other vids ive seen, would u recommend it ??did it effect your mood, any info appreciated :) thanx
@laura81stev I would recommend it to anyone but there's always the .1% chance of a side effect. It didnt effect me at all and i was suuuper skeptical at first. Give it a go, if anything seems to be going wrong then just stop taking it but it will work like a charm and the side effects are very rare

just started my course. 2 days in so far at 20 mg. 5 more freaking months and 28 days. Ill post a video on my journey. Thanks bro you gav e me the courage to start taking this drug. And I dont see any discolartion problems and if you do I strongly recomend "kiss my face" moisturizer. I had a purple thing on my face and in a week it almost disappeared. But I guess its all in experimenting
aloe gel or the aloe plant itself can help with the discolouration. but u rly shudnt woryy about it that much.. ur skin is 100000x better than before you started accutane
I was on Accutane at a high dose for 13 months. I had severe cystic acne on my face, neck, chest, shoulders, back, upper arms and upper legs. It did work though.
@FeelMichaelJackson Hey sorry for late rreplies i rarely get to respond to comments. I used emu oil and really saw no success. It worked great on my rashes from dry skin though

Ya man bad acne totaly ruins your life. I have to say mine is a bit worse then yours was and im almost fiished my first month and i havent really seen any improvments :( and my lips are dry as hell!!!!
@bLuebhErie I took accutane for 5 months and really realized how bad my acne scarring was because as the process went on my cheeks and chin got alot less reddish brown. I still had scarring and to me it was bad for the next 5 months probably but as life goes on theyre fading and i can say i am happy with my skin right now and am loving the sun with no acne! good luck!

@bLuebhErie I was the same but i only thought it looked bad... Im sure its not as bad as you think and there is no way to know when it will fade sadly. you can try a toner but they really are a scam im sure...
wow, amazing, i have mild acne right now and im scared to use accutane because of the side effects like hair loss and etc..im going to go to a dermatologist maybe and see what happens.

@sharif237 dont worry about any of that side effect crap, they mostly put it in there because they have too. If you are a girl all you have to do is make sure you dont get pregnant and it should work good. I am only on day 18 and it is making my skin look better. the only side effect I have is my lips are dry and my skin is a little redder then normal, but its not a big deal. I only have mild acne, so thats why it has cleared up alot already

ok some one answer please.. i was on the drug and iv been off it for a month it cleared my face up exetremely well but now i had a few small pimples on my nose they went away but now ones on my cheek and another one on my nose they are really small but im worried that my acne is coming back should i be worried or is this natural?
I am on week 10 of accutane and am still not seeing huge improvements. I still breakout, and have a ton of small blackheads. Its also cause my face to swell up, i have red patches all down the side of my face. I hope things will get better soon, should i be worried?
