Apart from what is obviously jiujitsu, this is mostly ninjutsu. The kata, the sword work, throws, movement, kamae stances at the beginning. The fact that the sparring includes a lot of ground work in this specific clip only shows that we integrate jiujitsu into our training.

Really nice video this is the kind of training Ninjutsu needs. Most Bujinkan dojos have a really deep confidence in taijutsu (based on kata) but a real fight is more than one or two punches and a kick, it is a complex of dynamic ability and the desire to win (or survive). You are doing a wonderful job having cross training; I like it, the sparring, the kata, the kihon.

MMA IS a modern invention - and it's arguable if it's really about martial ARTS or just fighting sports, but that's another issues.

A TRADITIONAL style - being TRADITIONAL - is NOT mixed! A certain style can incorporate different techinques, ranges, etc.,, but it is a SINGLE and HOMOGENEOUS MA, not MMA. MMA is a taekwondo guy learning judo, for example ;-) Or even a boxer learning to wrestle (although neither boxing nor wrestling is are considered MAs by themselves)
