  • I play the guitar,drums,bass,harmonica :)

  • wow

  • The only better version of this song that I've heard is the one recorded by the Boogie Woogie King himself.

  • cool man cool you will have to give me one or to tips on the origanal but i think this is great and i really lovin this song its sounds like albert ammons is playin it not u if it wernt for the video i would of said it was albert

    boogie on

  • very few play this music so well. It was a wonderful Sound from a long gone era but thank you for helping stay alive!

  • Thank you so much, boogie woogie is hot!! :D

  • Amazing, can you play any songs by other blues piano greats??

  • Ik blijf naar deze kijken!

  • Cool man, all of your peices are great. I dont have good enough left hand dexterity to play that well yet though, my bass always stinks, lol.

  • Hey!! this piece has class!!! do u have the sheet music?!? i cant find boogie woogie/ rock n roll piano sheet music anywhere!!! please help me out!!

  • Sorry I dont have sheet music from this song..

  • I'm probably wrong, but didn't Eddie Duchen have that left hand skill too? My mentor is Oscar Peterson and I know he never did. After Oscar's stroke years ago now though - you should go and listen to some of his one handed compositions he first went at before his therapy kicked in back to using two hands. His earlier stuff shows a lot of Boogie but I've never attached him to true Boogie compared to some of the other greats. Anyways, FreakyHead rules here!

  • Who are you man? You're great!

  • My name is Eeco,23 years old,Netherland. A big fan of Boogie Woogie ! :P check out all my vids:)

  • Awesome" as good as albert ammons.

  • Thanks..I wish I had a good drummer + bass..that would be awesome! :)

  • Yea should sound nice in a trio. Love that boogie stomp.

  • Also, I noticed your arrangement is almost exactly the same as in the original recording by Ammons. The sheets I found are a little bit different... the left hand part and some right hand parts don't sound as good as they do in the original. May I ask where you got the sheets? Or did you work it out yourself by listening to the recording?

  • I learned the song by my teacher. It's hard to find sheets from boogie songs. I dont have much lesons anymore so Im learning most songs by ear :)

  • Wow, that's great. I wish I could do that.

  • you can get a very accurate transcript from Colin Davey at colindavey.com. he does meticulous transcriptions of meade lux lewis, albert ammons, etc.

  • Nice one, thanks!

  • Totally awesome! This is my favorite tune by Albert Ammons and you can play it extremely well. I've been practising it for a couple of days but I'm afraid it will take me at least a month before I can play it at that speed while still perfectly keeping the left hand in control.

  • I love this song, you play it so well. I wish I could play like you, that is awesome. Well done man :)

  • Wow.. nice arrangement!! If you can play that double left hand at the end you will be the first person other Albert Ammons that I've known who can do it! :P

  • Really great!

  • Superb.

  • You are the 'Boogie Man'....yeahhhhhhhhh. Can't wait to hear the 'Freakie Boogie'..written by you. Better get some insurance for the left hand!

  • This is my favorite boogie woogie to play, although at the end, in the originaly song there's a double played left hand, I can play it but it still has to be perfect so that's why Im still practising that! :)
