Ms. Danz is one of my favorite mezzos, and I appreciate her wonderful feeling for Baroque style. I also saw her perform a Lieder recital and was extremely moved and impressed.

She is singing in A minor and lots of high E's, which is the usual top for an alto. Her creamy voice has more of an alto quality though lacking the heaviness typically associated with this voice type. To me, a mezzo's voice shines differently when she sings the high notes. It's a tone color experience.
