If you liked the singing on this advert then you may like to know that Libera are doing four cathedral concerts in the UK during October/November 2010. At Bristol, Chester, London, and Beverley.
The cold dark evenings will really enhance their lighting and choreographed staging inside these atmospheric buildings. Be prepared to have shivers in your spine and tears in your eyes from the sight and sound.
Since when does a solider carry a bellingham bag and cameras. Look at his hair, and his clothes he's a photographer not a soldier. As for the guy in the desert I can't believe you would even consider thinking he's a soldier returning from war. Employ a little common sense and stop trying to broker controversy by suggesting things that are blatantly not there.
This is last years advert and it is sung by Libera. the new commercial for 2009 is the same (i think) but they used Camilla Kerslake's version instead of Libera's.

As sound engineer that creates adverts, this has to be the most depressing Xmas advert.
The other supermarkets and retail business, want their customers to feel happy and content at this time of year and goodwill, and use music that fits, this music just makes you want to slit your wrists.
I quite like this as a change from the more in your face ads from the other retailers. Christmas isn't just about parties, it's also about families getting together and the slower music suits the idea of homecoming.
Well, you clearly know nothing about the human perspective or music. It influences you to hold onto the little things in life, saying with this amount of happiness how can they keep from singing, (The song). If you sat back and actually watched it i'm sure you will notice this.
this brings back fond memorys of xmas :)
