Every time you turn on your computer, Windows checks to see how this starts and which programs you open frequently, storing this information in small files in the prefetch (Prefetch), and uses it to speed up inicializção, if these files are deleted, the Windws and its programs will take longer to start.
If you delete it once and use your pc for a week, so your pc reissues the nessesary prefetcch files for your pc, but only for the programs that you often use, insted of when you initially got your pc (and all that asses baggage), will that help any?
YOUR CAUGHT RED HANDED!!!! I SAW THAT KEYGEN.EXE CACHE FILE IN YOUR PREFETCH!!!!! lol lmao. but thanks for the vids, the only time i delete the Prefetch is if a game or program in-counters a error usually it fixes it by deleting it.
Go to your update windows on explorer and click custom not express....In the other updates add the search 4.0.....and now you can search your files so easy....Faster is better
But i do have one question do you know anything on how to improve game performance in Xp becase im an ex Vista user and games that lag in vista are great in Xp and games that lag in my xp ran great in vista
That's actually an emulation issue - games designed with Vista in mind often have issues in XP and vice versa - what games in particular are you having issues with? Typically you need to patch them through the company website when you are trying to play them in vista.
I hate to ask, but it's the first question I always need to ask, what graphics card do you have and did you install the latest video drivers for it on XP. It is not an OS issue, I played CS Source on my XP without a hitch, so it's definitely a software or driver issue.
