yes you can, you can play single player.. with cpu enemies and cpu team mates.. or you can play co-op with real life team mate and cpu enemies . or play versus mode with real life team mates and real life enemies.. and there is a new mode that we dont know about it yet... i hope that helps.. and its never too late to play Left 4 Dead or 2 its a chance not to miss =D
