  • You have to remember this kid is 11 years old in this video, that's fucking ridiculous.

  • Good music can survive!!!

  • Somewhere I gotta" believe even Jimi is smiling at this one. Can't wait for this young prodigee to develop his own stuff. I see SRV and Buddy mentioned but he reminds me more of KWS. God, wish I could play as well as him ::)))

  • First time I heard you play Quinn, You are one bad guitar player, deeply impressed. Keep it safe and have a wonderful and exciting life.

  • he already looks stoned haha :D

    Sick playing though!

  • yep, this kid can play. Respect from quebec, we need more kids like you

  • was there when buddy guy brought this kid out at vibes and he s awesome

  • when i watch this and i see people giving more love to that ridiculous 8 yr old rapper matty b.... it makes me want to take this generation by its throat and choke it

  • corey cooper arguments again alot of haters out their quinn sullivan is a bright spot in our future dudes r buggin sayin this is easy to play...

  • stewie is back

  • I'm a big fan of Quinn and i don't even like the blues! Quinn is super talented and i would love to be able to play like him. Just imagine when Quinn steps out of his blues influnce and starts trying other forms of music watch out!! Maybe the next Edward Van Halen? Who knows? All I know is HE IS GREAT WITHOUT EVEN TRYING HARD.

  • @yourhockeyhero Way more soul than Eddie already....

  • I'm going to side with Buddy Guy on this one. When Quinn debuted at the Zeiteron with Buddy the cool part was Quinn's ability to pick up complex riffs very quickly, which I suppose many musicians can do; though apparently Buddy saw something in Quinn to help him out. Also, Quinn has started creating his own stuff - he released the album Cyclone earlier this year.

  • I've seen Cooper play many times at a tiny place called McGurty's Pub in Ithica. He's a complete PROFESSIONAL. Not a joke, scum-lot, fake hair color sporting, glee club voice having, Kangol hat wearing poser like this kid.

I've seen hundreds of people play this song. I respect one of them... SRV. This kid should stop hanging around with "lot trash" who worship anyone with a guitar in their hands and start creating some oh his own stuff.

  • sorry but some of us actually work hard to be heard. Young Quinn is nothing amazing, most of you could play like this after 2 years of consistent practice, but you won't...because you're too busy interfering with people's lives on YouTube. And yes, I'm a PROFESSIONAL, key word, not a bum like ^^^

  • @CoreyCooper75 Dude, first of all, if you are a professional like you claim to be and you are working so hard to get noticed, why do you feel the need to post a comment insulting the kid and his mother? Ask Branford about the grateful dead. He was close friends with them and probably still is. This a festival dedicated to the memory of Jerry Garcia....second, did your parents soak your head in LSD? That would explain your delusions..." I am recording with Don Henley" Why no videos of you?

  • @CoreyCooper75 Third, please post your work with Branford Marsalis. You really should not criticize without backing it up. I am a PROFESSIONAL,,just sounds like a little girl having a tantrum. Pretty sure this kid just finished a summer tour playing venues like the Hollywood Bowl and Red Rocks ..all are posted on youtube.

Maybe if Mommy and Daddy paid more attention to you when you were little you wouldn't feel the need to lash out at 10 year old. Glad you have a gig though...pubs are great.

  • @CoreyCooper75 I have an idea! Since you play so often at McGurty's Pub in Ithica have your buddy Jeff tape your PROFESSIONAL performance and post it on you tube. That way you can get 10 hits from the drunk losers sitting at the bar wishing the guy playing would stop so they can hear the game.

  • he would be the best metal guitarist fucking ever

  • fucking excellent,i just the shitheads don`t get ahold of him.

  • I'd like to soak a bandanna in LSD and tie it around this kids head. His mother should be ashamed of herself letting him hang around a bunch of scum hippies like that.

  • @CoreyCooper75 Nice comment.........spoken like true trailer trash. You should be ashamed of YOURSELF for writing a comment like that. LOWLIFE!

  • @CoreyCooper75 Professional musician?? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha........................

  • Wow. This guy is in a league of his own. Ridiculous.

  • Saw him with Buddy Guy on the 16th, he was doing everything Buddy Guy was doing, and a few times, even better then Buddy Guy could do it! I was amazed. This kid's go it.

  • Hey Quinn - don't let fame hurt you. Be humble and cool to people who dig your talent. And when the sharks try to give you dope, set the dogs on 'em and just play your guitar.

  • i never got to play with buddy

  • Just saw this kid at summerfest with Buddy Guy, he practically outplayed a bona fide legend, it was amazing. This is going places, for sure.

  • HOORAY for YouTube and ALL the child prodigies they have brought exposure to! Quinn is as brilliant as any of them. He's an awesome guitarist for any age, but for someone this young he is truly a Star on the rise!

Jimi re-invented guitar-playing. SRV perfected the style. Quinn will take us over the next horizon.....

...'scuse me while I kiss the sky....

  • 2 words BUDDY GUY! I think that is all that needs to be said really. If you don't trust BUDDY GUY'S musical judgement then well you're a fool.... This kid is amazing and go ahead and doubt him it will just fuel his music more. Close your eyes forget he's 12 and respect him as an amazing musician. Like BUDDY GUY.

  • SRV would have loved him, the same way SRV too Tyrone under his wing (Tyrone Vaughan is SRV nephew by Jimmie Vaughan). Tyrone Vaughan has his own band now & on the Music scene in Austin now, end of story.

  • Umm not his bed but not bad.

  • I thought briefly about removing the last few comments, though I am usually not one for censorship. SRV was beyond amazing, and it is so sad about that helicopter accident - who knows what level he could have further achieved. I think what Quinn has already accomplished is also very amazing. I'm thankful that I was able to catch Quinn at the Vibes; and at the Zeiteron when he debuted with Buddy Guy. Too bad SRV is not here to also help mentor Quinn - I think he would have embraced him.

  • This message is for Quinn. Keep on playing brother, you have a lot of raw talent and if you feel what your playing your doing it right. I look forward to seeing how you progress into a man and a guitarist. Don't lose site of who you are, and keep up with practice, you are really good and I appreciate your music and what you have accomplished. P.S. Beware of haters like teleplayer14. Probably cant even play the radio.

  • this is for teleplayer14. Truth be told, if you studied and know anything about SRV you would know that SRV was a true gentlemen and he would never down anyone with the heart and love for blues guitar. This kid plays well beyond his years and buddy guy is teaching him and backing his future. Remember this kid is ten. If you are a true guitarist, you have mutual respect for other musicians. Lets face it. He is on stage with a legend, what are you doing with your life? Never heard of you.

  • Hes good but he still couldnt carrie Stevie Ray Vaughans guitar case stevie would laugh at him

  • @teleplayer14 are u serious? U can't compare him to SRV he can't even vote, but im sure SRV would respect any kid that young even knowing about the blues nowadays, let alone playing it like that. Buddy Guy brought this kid up and SRV loved Buddy. This kids plays with feeling way beyond his age.

  • @teleplayer14 Never. Because my man Stevie has respect for musicians no matter what size. Why don't you give respect a chance you may find it will help you. Just saying....

  • @teleplayer14 : People are laughing at you. Stevie would likely become this kid's friend and laugh WITH him.

  • @teleplayer14 But I bet he can spell carry. I don't know Stevie, and can't say what made him laugh, but my guess is that he would never laugh at a young talented kid playing his heart out, but he might crack up at posting that makes assumptions about his taste in comedy that is written by an ignorant barely literate loser who can't recognize or even spell talent.

  • This kid fucking JAMSSSSS! awesome man!

  • I seen Quinn play with Buddy back in Jan. TOTALLY AMAZING!!!

  • Hey dude nice Fucking job.Your the next Jimmie!!!! i was just wondering who your guitar is signed by??

  • hahaha he looked stoned out his mind the hole time

  • @SuperBakersk8er Well he did once hang out with ron wood so..... lol

  • looks like stevie rays double trouble as the band.

  • According to an Arabic expression - he was a guitarist before he was born. I'm sure he'll go down in the Guitar Hall Of Fame. This kid is absolutely unbelievable.

  • Completely Amazing

  • If it hasn't already, that's going to get him laid!

  • this kid was amazing! one of the best acts of the day for sure! he blew my mind...especially at the end when he is holding the notes!

  • wow i wish i could play half as good as him and im 23
