@gunmadkiller it all depends on what you play like check out victor wooten, les claypool, stanley clarke, marcus miller, stewart hamm or anybody else that isnt your everyday G - A - D chord bassist. youll find that the bass can actually be alot more fun in the sense that you have soooo many different options on playing styles which give you plently of completely different sounds. i could see why you would say that cuz the majority of bassist are boring. but you gotta open you eyes before u say
