you flew it too far away from yourself and then lost track of which way it was turning and then lost it ...I have crashed planes because of the same error..Flying rc planes has a very unforgiving learning curve....
the AMA insurance doesn't cover a wrecked plane. It's there to cover any property damage that you would inflict if say, you lost signal with your plane and it crashed into the windshield of a brand new BMW rolling down the road.
