@Gollumnova Golion was never that good to begin with (franlky, it kind of sucks), and if the only way we could get the awesome Dairugger XV here was disguising it as Voltron, then so be it.

The Golion vs Golion scene was from the obligatory "enemy makes a duplicate robot" Voltron episode. IDK if it has a Golion counterpart.
Shincline found out that planet Jarre is rebelling against the Galra empire and that Golion will arrive on that planet to free them from Daibazaal's grasp. So he had Honerva build a similar robot and went with his army hidden in that duplicate before the real Golion got there. They killed a lot of rebelling locals before they even knew it was a fake Golion.
