That was a dust devil some dust devils can turn into tornado's. But the difference between a tornado and a dust devil is that a tornado begins its rotation aloft typically caused by a thunderstorm or storng convection inside the t-storm where as a dust devil typically needs dry warm air to form and its rotation begins at the surface, although some can form with rotation aloft, I've learned about these at my flight school. Cool!

thats a sand storm but tornado version i saw one of these at my home place and it was like 20 feet away from me i walked ryt frew it...its not that dangerous if ur a baby or a kid it will lift u about 4 to five but adults cant be lifted

its a landspout i think.... but there was one more powerful than this when i was at track practice one day during our warm up lap... it was so wicked i was the first one to notice it was moving easy and rotating very slowly it was only a couple of miles away... then it went up =[
