Silverlight 1.0 Getting Started

To reply to all the "what's it do" questions: I haven't actually used it (which is why i'm watching this tutorial!), but it's basically like flash- you can use it to make a program/application and then put on a website, and (almost) anyone online who goes to the website can run the program/application/game right from their browser (as opposed to downloading and then installing the program in order to use it). I hope that explains it a little!

All the answers i get from people is that it's a "Cross Broswer Plug-in" and that's it!

I know of this download, but first it is for Silverlight 1.x development and I am after Silverlight 2.x beta development; secondly, my question was about VS Express Editions and this download has a system requirement of VS Standard Edition!!
