I don't agree about the Rasberries, they only had about two hits. I remember bands like the Rascals and The Grass Roots who together must have put out 30 or 40 hits.
@MiKikaIwaShizaru Sound is disappointing. Really flat. They did nothing for the high-end. Really mid-rangy. Apple blew it, in my opinion. Get the Perfection CD remaster, if you can find one.
@MiKikaIwaShizaru They're good! Better than the Beatle remasters in my opinion, partially because the Badfinger ones came with alternate takes and some more bonus material. There was a clear, audible difference in the songs.
@christianphi :FUCK Rolling Stone-they are nothing closely resembling what they originally were. RS is now the communist PRAVDA to the youth - funny thing is, they are losing their street cred re:music
@yourfavoritegreg the rutles can kiss my behind cause do you know what the difference is between the rutles and badfinger badfinger has talent some that the rutles never had and it's something that the rutles is in desperate need of .
Got to love these guys.. Badfinger had great times and bad times. This video shows it all. Smiles, great music.. Wish they were still around. Tommy and Pete...talented young men with. So much the ahead they didn't see.
Tommy and Joey are funny to watch in this video. These were "Better Days" for them. Fantastic band and fantastic songs. Like to see Tommy smile and have fun...Thanks for posting it.
i loved these guys so much ...so underrated and great musicians joey is still touring to this day with his own version of badfinger but of course its not the same without pete tom and mike...next stop cleveland...
versions could have been on the Badfinger DVD. I remember driving around with a couple of my school buddies and hearing Come and Get It for the first time and we all thought it was The Beatles! Then the Magic Christian album came out and we knew these guys were the answer to our Beatle breakup blues! Still miss them and hope new fans are made every minute!
Great video. Awesome to see. Thanks chevy505. It's funny, they sing to the edited single B-side version and Joey and Tommy forget and sing the wrong words coming in after the solo. Pete Ham's guitar work is fantastic on this. The live version of this is really cooking on the BBC Live Radio CD, too.
great band, badfinger. they certainly picked up where the Beatles left off...literally!

Not many groups have three band members that sing lead vocals on different songs.

Still can't figure out why they stuck with the same manager when they were living in a ratty house and were never able to make any money.
marsviking 1 year ago
@marsviking probably would have caused legal issues and taken money they didnt have.

I get so pissed off when i think about how these guys got fucked around by their manager.,and all the great music they would have produced!

I love this song. Does anyone understand where I'm coming from when I say this song sounds a little "Rutle-ish"?
galaxies352 2 years ago 2
It does sound Rutle-ish, but always contend that the Rutles music was better than it needed to be. Badfinger is sooo right on the money!
