I have videos and pics on my youtube and I have been dealing with this since about college...it has gotten better but it times it feels so bad and I hate that I have to go through it.. Keep your head up and stay STRONG!!
I know it was very hard for you to do that, I shave every day sometimes twice a day because im so embarrassed about the hair on my chin. You are beautiful and so am i we just need to continue to show that side of ourselves.
Hello it is me again for some reason your video inspires me! It nspire me so much that I decided to start a group on yahoo! The name of my group is brownrainbows@yahoo.com! Rainbows are considered to be very pretty and so are we even with our noticable struggles! Please join and invite others to as well! PS just got my first lazor treatment I would love to tell you how that goes!
I have PCOS also & yes I have the hair it is soooooo frustrating and embarrassing! mine is all under my chin & on the sides of my face I shave alot of it. it does alot to my confidence like somedays I jus look in the mirror & feel like a man I HATE PCOS with a passion! I have the hair on the face , skin tags, skin darkening on my neck which isn't horrible yett & hopefully it doesn't get that way. you are so brave for doin this video I would have never done this!
Hi Jameela. I can totally relate to the issues you are having with PCOS. Especially having the hair in places where we should not have it. I'm 23 years old and I have to shave on average every other day.
You are such a courageous person to share your story with us. As a woman with PCOS, I know how emotional, difficult, and embarrassing this condition can be.
PS Mine is WAY WORSE then yours, mine comes in really thick and I have spots WAY darker then yours. Girl it is what it is I don't let it bother me and honestly people don't notice it until I show it and it's so much worse then yours, trust me!!! :) Hang in there!
I have the same issue, PLEASE DON"T TATTOO! It'll make it worse, I just pluck it all the time and that helps keep them at bay for a few days at a time. I also noticed that once I started eatting better and losing weight (which with PCOS is harder but can be done)the hairs weren't as thick and strong. I am going to ask my doctor about lazer hair removal and see if that's any better. Hang in there you are NOT alone! My mom could grow a beard and that's because she saved her whole life.
When I watched your video I got emotional because Im 16 and I have the same problem but the hair is all over my cheeks as well. It's so hard to deal with the fact that I'm not "normal" i recently went to the doctor and I have an appointment to have an ultrasound. I have the symptoms of PCOS but I haven't heard it from the doctor that I'm diagnosed with it. I hope all goes well for you as for me. Stay strong because it takes alot for a woman to talk about this problem. Good luck and god bless!

Hey! I am an black female with PCOS! It is hard for me as well! I dont think there are many of us that are educated about PCOS! I have found a couple of things that makes it easiler to deal with the diease! Hit me up if you are interested in using them and we can exchange email addresses! Just remember you are not going through this along!
Good luck to you ALL in trying to conquer this disease the best that you know how too,and i pray i dont have this, but the way that its heading i have ALOT of the symptoms, and im only a teenager...
I feel saddened by the mass amount of women who came to see your video for the same reasons that I have...God let us all pull through this and survive this terrible disease. Give us strength.
Girl I have PCOS too and I hate it. I have hair that grows under my chin too. I get so sick and tired of the females in my family asking me when will I have kids and that really hurts me because I know I can't have any.
Hi, Did you know that there are herbs you and take that can make it better?I am currently taking some for my PCOS and I can email you a list of them to you if you want. Leave me a e-mail in my box and keep up the good fight hun ☺
PCOS is something uless u have it, you can't identify with those of us who do. A lot of us had gone year s before the doctors told us what was going on. How have you guys be able to manage this disorder?
Seeing this video has made me cry. It is so hard going through life everyday as a woman with practically a beard under my chin. You are my hero for doing this video. It has gotten so bad that I shave every day and I won't even let my husband touch my face. The shaving has been my secret for 11 years. I don't have a lot of money so I can't go to a skin treatment place. Hugs and God bless you!
Thank you for sharing your experience, as a fellow woman suffering from PCOS i understand where your coming from. You are so brave to share your experience, thank you.
I commend you for sharing that.. I took have PCOS and not only have "Hair under there" but have it on my chin.. I literally have to shave with a razor.. it really does affect so much... I go from people saying Im beautiful, to me thinking I look hot to .. not letting anyone touch my face because I'm afraid of the stubble they will feel. Ultimately, the hair under there doesn't define our spirit.. thanks for shairing!!! and know there's ladies out there who understand completely
oh my goodness,i'm a teenage girl and i relate to you completely...it's so hard for me..i find myself carrying like a little razor with me to school and covering my chin up with tons of concelar and make up..i lost most of the weight,,i'm just trying to get rid of these stupid symptoms

That was very brave of u. I also have PCOS and have the same problem with the facial hair and i always try my best to find ways to hide it. I hate talking to people up close do i try to keep my distance while talking to them. Thanks for sharing.....
Wow, I can relate to how difficult that was just to hold your head up that way. I too find myself keeping my head down, covering my chin with my hands when i'm talking to people. Just doing everything I can to avoid letting it be seen. It's so dark, so coarse. Just annoying! Hope that you have made some progress. God bless you for your bravery!
I think your beautiful & very brave, thankyou so much for your video. I have plucked, shaved, waxed, hidden by keeping my hands on my chin/neck. Evenutally i went for Laser treatment, at a clinic called Skin, the hairs are thinner & i need another round of treatment. God bless. Diane.
i thank you so much for doing this video i just was diagnosed with pcos and its really hard to deal with but its encouraging to kw that there are people like you who are dealing with the same issues i am you are beautiful and strong you have given me confidence to hold my head up no matter what.
It is Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrom. Cysts grow on a woman's ovaries and causes havock with your hormones, causing hair growth on the body, hair loss on your head, infertility, weight gain and difficulty losing weight among other things

i think i might be getting it at 23 .i have been starting to get hair on my chin im going to go to the doctors within this month to check it out.I already know my hormones are wacked.thanks for your courage
God bless you, I know just how you are feeling, I have had PCOS for 10yrs now and I am only 26. I have gained about 100lbs and have alot of facial hair. I am a very pale skinned woman and I have the 5 o clock shadow that makeup will not cover. I also have had extreme hair loss and I will not leave the house with out a hat or a wig on. I have had many days where my depression has gotten the best of me and I will just lay around and cry. Keep ur head up :)God never gives us more than we can handle
Thank you for sharing that I KNOW EXACTLY how you feel!!! I keep my head down too or at a certain angle so ppl cant see.. now i know why my doctor told me not to wear my hair up in a bun all the time. my friends dont even know what im talking about unless i tell them about it. I am mortified. I feel like my body has betrayed me.
Thank you so much for your post!!!!! I was just recently diagnosed with PCOS and since then I have been trying to find every tidbit of information that I could find.
ok im not sure if i have pcos but i have most of the symtoms...and just like you i have the hair and its completely humiliating ... i also hold my head down when im out..and my confidence is sooo low..but i thank u for doing that...it really helpd me alot but imma continue to do my research and get some blood work done to see if it really is pcos...
I think you are completely amazing...I have no words to describe it but you really do help people. Keep your head high and if people are that absorbed with looks then they do not even deserve to get to know you!

I have the same thing and lots of it, I know how it feels. I was getting laser treatments but since that dr that was giving them to me moved away, she only charged 50 dollars per session the other places around me within driving distance wants 150-180 PER session. it's horrible they charge us women so much money, they rob us as they know if we have the $ we will pay it because it bothers us so much. my heart goes out to you
I TRUELY appreciate you putting this video up. I also have PCOS. I know noone else with this disease, and i always feel so alone. i have the EXACT same issue. I havent worn my hair up in almost two years and i went from being an outgoing person to a homebody who only goes out at night...Your video put me in tears because finally someone has the same thoughts and issues as me! you are so brave, i could never have done what you did in this video.
Hello Jameela.. Wow I MUST congratulate you for your braveness, honesty & charisma. I think your on the right track to accomplishing your goal/mission. It shows that your a beautiful person inside and out. I want to begin gatherings/meetings for women suffering from PCOS in my home town Miami, I think women need the support in every which way possible. I just want to say to women with PCOS don't be afraid of something that you have complete power in your hands to change. Always keep your head up!
hi I just want to say you are very brave and i commend you for that I' don't know if i could do anything like that i'm going to try excerise and electrolyisis thanx again for the motivation!
Awe man ladies I want 2 thank you guys 4 the support. I mean I thought I was the only 1, I thought I was going to tattoo the entire underneath of my chin b/c of this, but my family said don't do n e thing drastic...lol I've felt like cutting the skin off in some instances. Share a vid with me or an instance where it's stopping you from venturing out to outtings or even out the house... Again Thanks for ALL your support!!
I know where you are coming from, I too find myself wanting to avoid going out of the house because of all the hair. I just hate it. Just keep your head up you are beautiful and very brave for coming on here, I know one thing that does work is laser hair removal I did it a few years ago although I need to go again for some more treatments as its starting to come back now, but i will say that it does work. All right honey well you take care and i look forward to seeing more videos of you.
You are a brave and beautiful woman. Thank you for sharing this...I feel your pain and I understand. I thank you for your message...and just keep moving. You are right...PCOS is not WHO you are...it does not define you. best to you...
Your hair and skin are not bad. Trust me you have great skin.

I personally know how difficult it was for you do that. I too have PCOS and deal with the same issues that most of us 'cysters' do.
I am trying so hard to "correct" the issues and take the medications regardless of how sick they make me.
Just a couple of pointers for women with PCOS
~ Laser hair removal did not work for me, if you want to try it for yourself make sure to get a guarantee in writing!
~ Be cautious of using too much weight when working out. You WILL put on muscle.
