  • goddam, if people aren't complaining about helmets it's the shoes.

  • what a squid! Tennis shoes...

  • is that girl on it ??

  • sup with people calling other bikers a squid? sure with practice everyone can knee drag.......BUT NOT everyone can buy a Desmo. sleep over that tonight haterz....

  • is your helmet DOT certified? (like your shoe)

  • parece uma girafa em cima da moto

  • Men you don't know about bikes to say that.the desmo is the best supersport bike ever because it's like the moto gp ducati desmo.

  • ...italy....

  • Somebody please show me what the Desmosedici has really got

  • $80, 000 Bike...

    $50 Camera?

  • @TheGixxer7fitty FUCK THE CAMERA MAN IS A FUCKING DESMO : )

  • @pcxmac11 lol... you can definitely go down on me you dizzy mess... id be glad to lap you any day of the week... and you're probably one of those posers who wheelies into the back end of his buddies at stoplights...

  • I'm compelled to post. If the vertical cylinder isn't at a right angle to the ground it's a v not an L. Sorry Ducati fans. It's just ducati trendy lingo to call it an L not a V. If it is exactly vertical then I stand corrected. I am also a ducati fan but don't get offended when someone doesn't use the ducatista language. I don't like it when people call ducatis dukes vs. ducs but I don't rag on them. aprilia vs. Aprilia-(i own one) Arguing about calling it a V or an L. You're grown men!

  • @zoomvidsjc1 Most the people on here are not the age they say. I can guarantee that a good 70% of people on this site are under 17

  • @zoomvidsjc1 Wow, way to be a retard yourself. It's called an "L" because the angle between the pistons is 90 degrees aka a right angle...LIKE THE LETTER L. It doesn't matter the orientation of the L, it is still an L...and still also a V. It's just a nickname. Now go to another video and pretend like you know something.

  • Just so there is no confusion on my comments.

The desmo which is a GP6 replica(990cc engine size cap) is a V4, they changed over to 800cc in 2007 and it became a Dual Ltwin motor.

  • So class..

Desmosidici RR is a V4.. JUST LIKE IN THE RACE BIKE.. Almost no difference. I have been all around in and over this bike.. so you have been schooled.

  • According to Ducati its an L4. Its listed on their website.

  • And to everyone who is saying it wrong. The Desmosedici RR Isnt a V-4 Its a L-4 Theres Difference.

  • There is difference, but it's not that big.

  • It's a V4 jerk off on the Desmosedici.. look it up..The Desmodronic L Twin is NOT much different from an L..just position of motor to keep the weight down low on the bike for better handling.

  • My camera is ancient, sound quality is horrible. In person it is the meanest sounding bike ive heard yet.

  • @jderbedrossian Even with your ancient cam, the sound is insane. It's the best bike I've seen and heard. Sat on one and started it during MotoGp.

  • please know about the facts (in anything general) before making ridiculous comments. because yours sound like shit

  • hmmm... 3 thumbs down for you so far. guess im not alone

  • how much does it cost in usa?

    here in europe worths 60,000€ ~ 85,000$

  • you can pick them up for about $65,000 american now...my dealer has sold 3 at that price

  • Wow Ducati desmo powaH

    Forza ducati

  • shame da price is high

  • that is a magnificent piece of machinery, congrats on having such a beautiful bike. if i had the cash i would own one too and don't listen to all of this haterz they probably don't even own a scooter.

  • boo hoo I wanted to see him naked

  • You tools. What is it to you if he isn't fully geared or not? He wasn't going that fast, you caneasily ride at about 100mph without feeling much on your upper body.

  • Comment removed

  • are you guys serious, he is no Duc rookie or rider all we did was pick it up and he rode it home. Get real guys he was just cruising not hot dogging it. That was the extent of the throttle that you saw in the video thats it he knows better. Sheez jealousy is a bitch ain't it.

  • @jderbedrossian Just crusing as you put it. I was doing 15 mph. And no I wasn't hit by anything. I hit a rock in the road. I am now in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Had I been geared up like normal I would probably still be walking. Jealousy has fuck all to do with it

  • @jderbedrossian I put full gear on when I go for a 500m trip from my house to the supermarke and back. Why can't he wear full gear on a trip home then?

  • @jderbedrossian

some people are just like that, no shit you can do.

it is his bike, he can ride it how he wants to, at least he showed some video with the sound in it.

you dont like it you dont watch it.

you dont like comments, dissable them, its youtube. people get boired and just write something.

or you can remove comments, i dont know. just fuck it, and all have fun :)

    keep smiling bitchesss :)

  • Agreed! If you own a bike like that, minimum should be boots at least! He just LOOKS like a tool w/ those silly sneakers on. Half the worth of a bike like that is pose value and even wearing jeans w/ that appears a bit underdressed IMO. To be fair tho, i dont think he's really that much of a squid, as he WAS wearing lid, jacket, gloves.

n yes i DO support riders' right to wear w/eva they want, but IMO a Desmo deserves better than most other bikes out there!

  • @ghostryder691 STFU

  • @ghostryder691 Do you even know what squid means? it does not mean anyone not in full gear on a sport bike. Hes wearing plenty of gear for normal highway riding, save the gear for the track man, unless you plan to double the speed limit on a public road in traffic, but then you would be the squid...

  • @ghostryder691 FIRST OFF THE GUY IS RIDING NORMAL, STOP HATING BECAUSE U CANT AFFORD IT AND FINALLY WEARING FULL GEAR WILL ONLY PROTECT U TO CERTAIN EXTENT... DOES NOT MAKE U INVINCIBLE "SRRY".

    P.S. IM A BIKER

  • @ghostryder691

    72,000 €

  • Fucking amatuer! Riding in sneakers 1st off and 2. not even tucked in racers position on a hwy going that fast. he must like G forces beating his head in.

  • Wheres is the max velocity of this bike?

  • wow, is this a much smaller (shorter seat hight) bike than the 1098 or is this dude just stiking up and out way to much?

  • I think it is alot shorter than the 1098 because it only has a 990cc engine but the 1098 has a 1300cc engine. Also, the D16 is realy a track bike so for better handling they want the weight of the rider to be lower to the ground to reduce the centre of gravity. The D16 is also a V-4 but the 1098 is a V-twin.

  • lol, 1098 does not have a 1300cc engine, lmao

  • yeah my mistake. the 1098 R has a 1200cc.

  • yep =]

    The 1098 and 1098 S have only 1100 though...

Gotta love ducati's naming system, lol. *sigh*

  • See, this is the problem with Ducati lovers and owners..They dont even know what displacement their bikes have..So whos buying the badge here now, you get my point?..And then all of them are squids with T shirts hangin out of their leather jacket and tennis shues and jeans..That noob in that video cant even sit properly on it yet alone ride it at a steady pace as we can see...You can buy the toy, but you cant buy the heart..

  • 1098 & 1098s = 1098CC

    1098R & 1198 & 1198s = 1198cc

    very hard indeed ...

this guy is also clearly acceling & decelling for the vid, so it seems you simply can't shee for shit

  • Dude dont judge us all by this nimrod punk on the Desmo. he's just a rich panzy. i know all ducs from 1972 - 2009 like the back of my hand and so does my associates. Because I know tooooons of Jap rice bike owners who know jack shit about the bike they ride. If anyone wears unprotective gear and rides in sneakers and short sleeve tee its the dummies who own Jap bikes. Duc owners wear the right gear always. This dork here is the exception.

  • Sorry bud, but you're talking shit, people on every kind of bike will wear what they please, they'll wear there maximum or there minimum level of protection, it's whatever your comfortable with, i see quads flying around at 50mph with no helmet (not a legal requirment here) and no other safty kit, because there comfortable doing it, and just accept the risk, it's not importnant, he's the one who'll have a bad name if he lands on his face, not the rest of us, and don't generalise. you don't like

  • you don't like it, and neither do we (as a japanese bike owner) some people know about bikes, others do not, doesn't make them any less a part in our comunity, i respect everyone from learners on 50cc scooters (with the exception of the obvious assholes of course) all the way up to litre bikes and harleys, we all face the same dangers, so please don't make japanese bike owners a stereotype. peace.

  • ...But he has one and you dont.

  • Braniac83:

what's wrong with wearin a t-shirt under your jacket? looks like he just might have been riding his bike somewhere where he doesn't wan't to wear full leathers and boots, is that not okay? it's not like he was racing or flyin through twisties. it looks like he's just tryin to sit comfortably on his bike i'm sure you know racebike ergos don't really suit the street too well. and the steady pace thing, well if you're serious... i don't know what to say

  • Your more likely to crash on the street on fucked up roads with cars flying around than a perfect racetrack (Speaking from my own experience) Ive had road rash experience on my body and thats because of, im just gonna pop to the store in leather jacket, gloves, and helmet, the rest was jeans and sneekers and a lady pulled out in an intersection 300 yards from my house. And besides, where i live we dont have highways, its mostly 180 turns.Home-> watch?v=hx6sd5XkDQk&feature=related

  • don't take this the wrong way mate, i prefer full leathers boots gloves and a helmet (obv a helmet lol) but why get into arguments with people about kit, i'm going to wear a t shirt and a helmet only if i feel like it... if it's 45 degrees and i'm only doing 30mph chances are alot of people would take the risk, everyone has a minimun requirment, mine is gloves boots and a helmet oh and back protector, full leathers aren't always a must for alot of people. i understand about road rash though.

  • LOL @ "mostly 180 degree turns"

  • Whats funny? If you would actualy check my channel for ridin videos youd see what im talking about.

  • The 1098 is a L Twin there's a difference get it right All Ducati super bikes are L Twins not V Twins with the exception of course of this one. Fuck all the haters there jealous.

  • this is a L-4. LOL only the real racebike desmosedici is a V-4.

  • wheres the wheelie

  • ricer! lmao!!

  • i love this bike

  • That bike is Sweet!

(A-Pillar gauges on a truck... not so much... too "fast-n-furious"... but, "whatever floats your boat")

  • Diesel truck is almost a requirement to have an EGT and BOOST gauge. Where would you suggest I put them on a dodge ram.

  • Center Dash pod or sunglasses slot are both clean looking installs...

    Just my .02

(Note: Due to the rising cost of fuel, my opinion now costs $0.05, not $0.02)

  • no sunglass spot on laramie option, back in 03 this is all they had. Yes the new dash pods do look great.

  • amazing bro! love that race exhaust on a twin!!

  • To bad its a V4

  • I just got owned. i dk why i said twin, but good call, man.

  • TOO BAD????? UR NUTS!!

  • wow good!!!!!!!10+++++++++

  • good to see a ducati doing what it was meant to do cruise the highway at low rpm

  • lol thats the truth. cant avoid the highway all the time though. i would want to show it off anytime i got a chance on and off the track
