I came to see a Flip Ultra HD test, and left blown away by your artistic video. Amazing bit of composing! Very moving. You should work for Flip- I'm getting the darn recorder.
So all i wanna know, is it worth it. I might get it , but i record my friends band, are they good with loud sounds like that, and is the sound quality good with loud stuff like that?
the video quality is amazing, but i woudn't recommend recording a live song with it. It wont sound that good. For just video recording of other stuff like people talking and nature, the sound quality is great. I would suggest you getting a nicer mic for recording a band's audio though.
I picked up a Sunpak .5x wide angle lens. This particular video camera lens comes with steup/down rings. I super glued one to the front of the Flip, and I can screw the lens on the front, giving me a little more wide angle.

Filming in B&w looks superb compared to filming in Color. I think it eliminates the saturation and all that other stuff.
