I started by watching the show but soon after i heard that the show was based on a book series. So i got most of the books and began to read them. There are differences between both. Sometimes alot of difference but in my honest opinion i like the way the show is made onto HBO better then the books because in the books sookie is telling the story herself or is seen through only her eyes. In the show you get to see the story more through the eyes of all the charactors.

actually, no. they are both stories of vampire + human romance, but the plots are very different. plus... true blood has a fascinating and sexy story and twilight it's a bit lame in my opinion. don't think the characters in the film have that charisma we see in true blood. rob's hot and kristen is blasè. that's all there is to it.
