idk why they even call that lake Michigan, they should change it because Michigan thinks that every inch of that lake is theirs, like they wanna use the resources for drinking water and dumping water....i think it needs to be left alone and the name changed...
I guess I never though of it that way. There is some gratuitous boat footage in there. This video was actually meant to be kind of a cool souvenier of our trip. We hit a lot of the cool Wisconsin wrecks. I'll have to post a few more of those. I have to as the Wisconsin divers for some info on other cool wrecks. Any suggestions? Thanks for checking it out and the comment.
Guys nice videos, you bring your boat over?you hit some of our sites but seems you missed a few, make it back over let me know we will get you down on some!
Cool video. Great editing. Looks like you get nice viz in Wisconsin. The viz off Los Angeles is crappy most of the time with a couple months of 20 - 30 feet.
Not Bad I am a local video artist in the milwaukee and Manitowac area. I am a student at miad and am interested in shooting a documentary for this that I would put in film festivals any sugestions on getting started with this.
Cool. A couple of things you'll need right away. First, an advanced diving certification which you can get trained on in any dive shop. It is possible to rent equipment for diving but it's expensive if your doing a lot of diving. Better to buy if you dive a lot. Second, a decent camera and underwater housing. Those are the basic ingredients. You can rent diving charters all over the Wisconsin coast as there are a lot of divers in that area.
Yep. We used GPS and coordinates we got from local divers to find the wrecks. They are also bouyed so we could hook on and use the mooring line to take us down to the wrecks. We hit 9 shipwrecks over the course of 6 days. Two dives a day, deepest first.
That's cool. There are fantastic shipwrecks all over Lake Michigan and some of the best are only a mile or two off the coast of Wisconsin. Milwaukee has some great wrecks and they continue all the way up the coast.
North Carolina diver here. Awesome video!!
