  • just a side note. those of us that are prepping are increasing demand. thereby increasing the cost.

  • I have been trying to make some money to get some gear saved up and im looking for some help by helping you will be making money to. if you can rate a 30sec tv ad you can do this and it is free at all time check out my page to join up thanks

  • You can find spices at dollar stores. Most are made in America and come in convenient, storable sizes.

  • Most pre-prepared food has a very short shelf life. After 2 years the food will taste disgusting if not be outright spoiled or stale.

Bulk foods are preferred, and dry spices can last for 10 years or more.

FEMA has free documents on survival ironically, check them out, your tax dollars paid for it.

  • great video, good job!! Just something I learned is that any food items that are made of glass or plastic that light can get at, will go bad quicker then if you covered them up. just something to look up or think about.

  • Very GooD

  • why stockpile? is it so difficult to go to the store?

  • @phototristan I live a few miles south of the area where tornadoes struck in Alabama that had houses destroyed and people went days withought electricity so this would be important for people like me.

  • You made a whole lot o' sense there, thanks for sharing but if I may just ask, how would you deal with the expiration dates and all that? What if you still have them after a couple o' years? Do bottled water even expire?

  • Thanks. You ever thought about solar power if the big companies shut off the electricity?

  • @boywhoy88

A solar cooker can be made out of aluminum foil and cardboard.

  • @rickcain2320 You are right. May Jesus Christ bless you with salvation

  • I agree on the food but detergent thats easy to make I would use that money for more food or other more important things. you could buy baking soda and borax that have many uses.

  • Women make babies with more and more psychopath/sociopath types of males and in the end we all lose because these people will stab you in the back for their selfish goals always. Kinda rings a bell doesn't it *cough banks cough*.

  • Great video

  • ALERT!

I forgot to put 4 pounds of rice in an airtight container &...WEAVILS!

While I do keep some rice, it has to be Brown rice...Whole. If you store wheat it must be whole as well. But ideally.. LIVE WITHOUT IT. These are both not healthy for you. Humans are not designed to eat this, rats & birds are, except humans have modifed grains to the point that they are even unhealthy for the damned rats. Just some thoughts.

And no corn. Cows, Hogs & people all fatten on it for a reason.

  • My whole thoughts on this video is "Women are so awesome and smart"

  • Coupons are awesome for areas that have expensive canned goods. Great video!

  • The best deals on basics are at a local LDS cannery or at store.lds.com

  • Thanks for the excellent vid. Great stockpile you've got there!

    prankster

  • wheres the guns to defend your gold valued food?

  • When SHTF, how will you cook the rice?

  • @killzone321 There's alot of ways.We have propane tanks stored for the BBQ and there is always the good old fire pit in the back yard or your bug out location. In a SHTF scenario there is a lot of trees around,Use the for fire wood and cook your rice.As far as the water for boiling for the rice,Well that's why you prep so you have water.

  • @killzone321

Rice can be soaked to soften it.

I have a solar oven that cooks rice beautifully.

  • @LenoraForest For how many years? I've cooked rice for the last 50 years and unless you heat the water, it's a waste of time to soak it. Maybe you are referring to beans.

  • Why does my school use this song?

  • @patriotusa200 Yeah Cali is higher for sure. People in Utah are big into food storage so they do a lot of great sales for us here. Just watch for the sales in your area, and start stocking up. Even if you pay more just start slower. Look for coupons to match up with adds if you can. Pay attention to the loss leaders each week and stock up on those items.

  • That is a good point about cleaning supplies

  • I'd put all cleaning supplies etc. on FLOOR not above my food. if anything ever happened (heat expansion or other leak causing issue), you wouldn't want it pouring down onto your food making it unusable.

  • @FAQUAD2010 That is a good point about cleaning supplies

  • I can't find any cans for less than a dollar.

Maybe some off brands at the dollar store, but who would eat it?

    Where are you shopping?

  • You panty is so cool

  • @Lexingtonprepdude Thanks!

  • Wow. I wish I had this much space to store my items =(

Nice job and tons of good items to have on hand. You make a really good point about food/water being more important than anything else you stockpile. Gold/silver/guns do you no good if your dead from starvation...

  • Where do you purchase your bulk items?

  • Left to right. I use a ton of broth in my cooking. It is really pretty easy.

  • How do you rotate those stacks of broth?

  • Your panty is so cool! ;)

  • Good job. Keep it up!
