  • Thank you! I like your style of teaching, you don't go too fast or too slow, and you break things down perfectly! especially for people like me that mainly play by ear.

  • Thank you so much for this video. I'm an absolut beginner in jazz, and this gives me an idea how to start practicing improvisation. Good hints to start with, because I was looking for someone to help me in this sense.

  • You make piano exciting. I absolutely LOVE your videos. Thanks for making them.

  • idk about that guy who commented on the top.. but the easier you can make it the better video was very helpful thank you!!!!

  • thank you grandpa :D

  • @7:11 Eb should be Db.

  • eased my life up ten fold

  • @6:18 FACE xD Good lessons, i'm watching them now

  • i cant help but feel like you're oversimplifying things and using words like "SECRET" and "INSTANTLY" makes me even more suspicious

  • If the knowledge about playing extended chords is so prevalent and widespread, then do not watch my video, just take TRADITIONAL piano lessons from your local piano teacher and ask her or him to explain the interaction between extended chords and IMPROV.

  • I have faith that the author didn't use "secret" and "instantly" to indulge in the exclusiveness of his information (a technique adverstisement would employ to sell their product). More over, the "secret" he is telling you will provide you with a chord that will let you go off on any tangent, you feel your music is taking you. In essence, assuming that you agree with his judgement and musical tastes, these chords should provide an infallable way to improvise (and sound good.)

  • Jazz is all forms of music thrown in the pot.

Some are scrape and some are merge and continually evolving.

  • Thanks for sharing.

A few hours from now is Christmas Eve here in the Philippines.

    Blessed Christmas!

  • Very interesting! Well demonstrated, You are a good instructor!
