Well, Mike Boyd of the Boyd Group is incorrect. Skybus will not be flying connecting flights through Columbus. Skybus is flying direct flights only. In addition, Skybus has raised more capital than JetBlue did before its launch, has been termed the most anticipated start-up since JetBlue and also sold 60,000 tickets it's first day in business.
"They might want to call the bankruptcy attorneys right now," says Mike Boyd of the Boyd Group. "If the rumors we're hearing about them flying to secondary cities and flying connecting flights through Columbus are true, I just don't see it.
