I saw "The Who" in Melbourne front standing area and lived to tell about it. This was true, raw rock. The best of the best. The stuff space ships pick up. I saw the "Rolling Stones" in Melb. 15 years before and they were raw as well. Rock is in your blood and will never die; I never saw the Beatles, personally. @kraken589 Yes they are, It's just that no-body ever had, or has the rhythm section of The Who. Those two are unmatched, they played like lead instruments and played off eachother like no-one else.

Yea, Pete & Roger are great, but they're the lead singer & guitar player, they always stand out in any good band. But you have to be a bit special to stand out playing the drums or bass and both in the same band!

The fact that their was people that wanted to see all 4 of them really says allot!

i prefer pete's voice to roger's. apparently pete used to be the lead singer and roger played guitar (badly probably) and roger was influenced by his friends to try an get the lead singing role so he asked and pete got sort of demoted really

@Monoloptic Roger's voice is obviously better. Pete's is still good, but a bit too childish sounding. He was never "demoted" though, he was still the main songwriter, guitarist and occasional lead singer. His guitar playing was a very important part of the music.
