  • Oh my god, Toucan Sam is totally an imitation of Alan Watts! "Follow your nose! It always knows! The flavor of truth!"

  • HEY THOSE FRUIT LOOPS ARENT EVEN COLOURFUL >:(

    they look like fucking cheerios.

  • i only drink orange juice at night time!*

  • ive never had cereal with orange juice and toast. never!

  • CLASSIC!

  • all taste the same!

  • Wow…like if it was yesterday…where do people find these clips????

  • When i read the title i was thinking it was something about 1970's ay rights.

  • Fruitis loopis

    Indeed

  • Long Distance? What's that? And what is that strange spiral-corded contraption the toucan is holding?

  • Just follow your nose

  • wow........ a cartoon commercial from the seventies that isn't really creepy and slightly disturbing! plus I get frootloops twice a year (birthday AND christmas!)

  • I've always wondered why Toucan Sam speaks so clearly in the King's English when toucans are found in South America. If he speaks English at all, shouldn't he have a Spanish or Portuguese accent? Or maybe he speaks one or more of the indiginous tounges? I'm probably trying too hard to figure this out.

  • the the F*ck are froot?

  • thumps up if you thought it was fruity loops :D

  • my favorite cereal next to lucky charms and cinnamon toast crunch. its delicuious!

  • Kids just love a James Mason accent.

  • Sounds more like Ronald Colman

  • @ecogazoo Fruit Lolitoops?

  • I just ate Froot Loops today.

And I just figured out that I hate it.

But I like the commercials! :D

  • frutis loopus!

  • i wish there were more ads were the character of the product or wat ever talked about the product. instead for some bitch saying " this shit is healthy so buy it " this way i wouldn't be annoyed at ads coming on all the time, instead its like watching mini cartoon clips with some product in it. :(

  • I finally got a box of these for £8 (i've been wanting to try them since I was about 7-8 )22 now, and i live in england where there hard to find), and honest it was like a bowl of crunchy heaven.

  • @InsertName125 LOL DUDE

  • I think I'll start by hunting down a walrus...oh, wait, I'm a fucking walrus.

  • WOW kellogs does make a lot of good things

  • Fuck your children and tell them to stay away from my fucking froot loops!

  • uh, what the fuck is a walrus doing in the jungle?

  • @Wcburg1

    Going to a convention.

  • they look just like cherios!!!

  • I'm an adult, and I still love Froot Loops. I still love those, and Frosted Flakes, and Apple jacks, and Cocoa Krispies,

  • Why is it spelled "froot?"

  • @katzmeow4

I never noticed that before xDDD

  • @katzmeow4 play on words i suppose, callihg it fruit loops would have been too boring.

  • mmm......froot loops.......

  • It's a sticky buisness. Always Follow your nose.

  • god damn it! i miss the good old amarican froot loops.. where i live (switzerland) froot loops taste like nothing, and the only have 3 diffrent colours! (green, orange, and purple!) well.. atleast the swiss froot loops don't make me Fat!

  • it was good until they added more fiber just so you can crap more

  • froot loops are nasty. they're so sugary nowadays.

  • Start with a balanced breakfast of sugar, and carbs...well at least there is protein in the milk...lol!

  • froot loops make children FAT. :D good breakfast, well 80% carbohydrates and tons of sugar LOL but they are tasty.

  • That porcupine hauled ass for some Fruit loops.

  • that thing has a lisp

  • Follow your nose.

  • oy my god. i love foot loops! im eating them as we speak!

  • my mom was 1

  • Actually maybe a better idea would be having a male parrot have sex with a female toucan and produce a toucan/parrot hybrid so the toucan could talk. With a talking toucan sales for RC would be even higher.

  • I've come up with a marketing idea. Making RC Cola's mascot a talking parrot that drinks RC Cola and says it motto out loud after drinking it "be free drink RC" and then gives a contented sigh from the flavor. Given how much this fictitious bird help Kellogg's in selling Fruit Loops, I'm sure my idea would help out RC a lot if they would listen to it. Does my idea make sense?

  • Gotta love those Froot Loops!!

  • wow this was made before my mom either met my dad

  • These commercials are older than me! Toucan Sam's personality never changed.

  • I remember another Fruit Loops commercial featuring a spider that missed breakfast tying his shoes LOL. You also used to be able to get plastic glow in the dark toys inside the box--my first memory of anything "glow in the dark". They never lost their Fruit Loops smell...Ahh, the memories!!

  • This is the voice I remember Tucan Sam having when I was little. Oh the nostalgia of it all. It makes a little teary.

  • Comment removed

  • i was seven years old when this commercial came out tha good days!

  • Kellogg's Froot Loop Cereal!

  • One of my earliest memories was of a dream where I was being attacked by toucan Sam. I was on a sidewalk trying to run away and he kept tripping me and biting my ankles. I kept kicking him off and running away. I still liked the loops. They were the perfect Saturday morning accompaniment to Bugs Bunny and the Pink Panther. Never trust a toucan.

  • @InsertName125 that's funny , i dreamt of him shitting on my shoe lol

  • @InsertName125 You're kidding. I used to have dreams of Toucan Sam chasing me too. The weird thing was I wasn't afraid of him while I was awake. I even liked him. But I kept having a dream of him chasing me. Weird!

  • @vozpit You're right. I wasn't afraid of him awake either. Maybe it's a subconcious thing because our ape ancestors were chased by toucans. They look like they have a sharp beek. Come to think of it, when I was a kid I even wanted one as a pet at one point, to go with my falcon and my Baretta phone-answering cockateel.

  • @InsertName125 LOL! I can just picture a bunch of cavemen being chased by giant pre-historic toucans!

  • @vozpit Starring Racquel Welch.

  • froot loops are fucking delicious!

  • ya they are my fav

  • god, toucan sam was totally always trippin ballz on kava, and froot loops helped him come down

  • The porcupine sounds like Chuckie's dad from Rugrats.

  • lol now in days commercials r graphicy and realestic

  • That's ghetto

  • were cna i ge froot loops in uk

i got soem ages ago from 99p store

  • you mean you don't have foot loops???? OMG!!!!!

  • along time ago i got soem from 99p store

but no we dont i love them sooo much

is it safe buying them online

  • I'm sure it would be....I would buy them online. I mean you could tell if someone tampered with them.

  • that bird is a homo

  • aww me enkanthaan looz froot loopz n_______n

iia llegho la frrutti oraaa zaboreala qn thuz froot loopz (8)

    ^^

  • "Follow your nose"

3 words I haven't heard toucan sam say since I was like 5

  • lmfFAO OMG

  • Where can I get a box of Kellogg's Bong Hits cereal?

  • At the police station. I am sure they will go out of their way to accomodate you in your quest for such a thing. Just try it.

  • I miss these old ads. So simple and fun. Interesting characters without all the jamming music and CGI that is in all the commercials now. Takes me back to sitting in front of the TV watching Bugs Bunny and Hong Kong Phooey and eating way to much sugary stuff for breakfast. Ahhhhhh......good times!

  • amen to that!

  • I don't want lupus for breakfast...or anytime, actually.

  • I Might Import Another Box Here To The UK , They Rule

  • The explorer sounds like he might have been voiced by Lennie Weinrib.

  • Where did Saturday Morning go?

  • Down the shit-hole along with videogames worth playing. :'(

  • This is really old. so why doesn't he say follow your nose now? I never heard him say that.

  • "Follow your nose, it always knows" was the commercial's catch-phrase...I had heard the phrase used up until the 1990's but it's been so long since i'd seen a Froot Loops commercial because i rarely watch TV anymore...but I will say the last one I saw on TV in the 1990's he used his catch-phrase. I would assume if they dropped that catch-phrase it's because they changed direction with the character and the commercials...these older ones have a formula and a rhythmic pattern.

  • Froot loops today have no taste at all.

  • Blame soccermoms.

  • he sounds more upper class in this video!

  • This is the greatest thing I've ever been subjected too.

  • awesome

  • The porcupine looks and sounds like the same one used for Kellogg's (Sugar) Corn Pops "Poppy" from the Early to mid 80's.

  • he also sounds like Baby New Year.

  • This looks much the same as the commercials 30 years later.

  • So they only had like, 3 flavors of froot loops back then? So sad...

  • I think this is late 1970's, not just 1975.

  • Huh. Toucan Sam hasn't really changed in the last 30 years.

  • Except that his feet were more bird-like back then.

  • I like at the end how the jungle explorer says,"Glad I discovered them!" And then Tucan Sam has that look on his face that seems to say,"What? YOU discovered them? That's BS!"

  • First time I've seen 1970's Fruit Loops commercials. Unless I saw one in 1979, the year I was born. But I wouldn't remember if I saw one or not. Not too different from the ones in the 1980's. Just some subtle stuff is all.

  • Good ol' Paul Frees.
