  • I don't know what you are talking about...though she's not my cup of tea either...but the last note was nothing short of spectacular...it wasn't pushed or forced at all...

  • an ever loving AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well...this wasn't my favorite. There were nice parts, but most wasn't to my taste and that last note was terrible. No question. BAD.

  • You are judging her as you would a professional. The point of this competition is to aid young artists in their education. The prize winnings will help them pursue their studies. I, for one, see her as a tremendous talent at such a young age. She did well in this piece.

  • @salphonso she is 32 and has been performing in opera houses for years. I liked her singing but wont make concessions for her because of her age since she is the same age as many professionals singing this role. she is older by 11 years than the tenor finalist. if singing is her job and sole form of income she is a professional and should be judged as such.

  • It does not matter at all that she is 32. Her physical age doesn't matter, especially relative to others. She may have been a slow learner, or had some difficulty, or started later than the others in the competition. Her talent is quite developed, and her emotion is well displayed (but not overdone). She has won because of that. The 21 year old tenor, though he had heart, showed inexperience. Above all, she showed that she knew what she could do.

  • @Iareto I would love to see you do better

  • Wow her voice is fit to this kind of opera.

  • horrible voice! horrible last tone!!! she doesnt deserve!!
