Well produced educational video! An artist here in LA made a huge harmonium from giant whoopee cushions that was exhibited at the Getty Center earlier this year...I wanted to go see it, but my daughter thought the idea of a huge "farting machine" was gross...
Loudspeaker and clarinet? That's why. Had I not read these comments I'd never have known. For futur demos, Could you spruce up the whoopee cushion air pressure difference a bit more? Your bland explanation totally takes the fun out of that sound.
Yes the glass was broken for real both with a loudspeaker and the clarinet. But I wouldn't recommend doing it with a clarinet, it hurt my ears and is a bit unreliable.
thats great i nthink you could make a lot of money by make it into a proper insterment not just woopy cosin and a pipe work on them lol am surly have lost it
that was interesting, and your whoopee cushion organ was amusing. You can get a different sound from a whoopee cushion by squeezing it by the sides gently, it 'squeals' like a balloon deflating with the neck stretched.
SCIENCE!

Nice....but I still prefer that all time classic: Freddy Flatulance and his Titantic Tooters doing his theme song: "The Whoppee Cushion Serenade".
